i think i'm ending up at avalon. now i just need to find 20 hot and scantly-clad women in order to get in.

where's a cheap place to buy champagne in DC?
i don't want to spend like $60 a bottle in nyc if i can get it here for $40...

NYC has plenty of cheap places to buy alcohol.

after hunting around midtown for champagne prices, i found Bell Liquor at 1821 M St to be the best: picked up a moet nectar imperial for $30 and a piper brut for $24.
