Never one to stick to a single style, when you go to see Dan play you'll hear the best soulful, funky house, seamlessly blended with harder, driving progressive beats, but always with an energy that makes people get up and dance. Playing records that just don't work on the dancefloor, forgetting that when people go to a club, they're there to have a good time, not to be lectured to. FRED MASLAKI (YOSHITOSHI, DC : GOURMETGROOVES)

A DC native, Fred Maslaki's roots can be traced back to the early Fever parties and seminal clubs like Tracks, Buzz and Twilo. The driving, chunky house sound that is Fred's trademark is influenced by close friends Deep Dish, and his track selection sees labels such as Stereo, Weekend, Xplosion, Phonetic, and of course, Shinichi/Yoshitoshi, getting major turntable time.

His popularity and underground credibility with club-goers is on the rise, and this exposure has enabled Fred to play in various cities including his hometown Washington - DC, Baltimore, Charlotte (NC), San Diego and San Francisco. With many forthcoming dates lined up, you're sure to catch him playing at a club near you. Meanwhile his mixes can be heard on Thump Radio , LA and YoRadio , DC – with amazing track selection and smooth mixing, Fred rocks any and all crowds.


MIKE HADDAD (EMC, DC : ***********, NYC)

Introduced to and educated by active members of the scene, Mike envisioned a career that would take years of hard work and effort. Learning the art of mixing quickly became a part of his life, which led to a successful after-hours party, and his guest spots at Glow (Insomnia, DC), Groovejet (NYC) and Code (Nation, DC). Mike keeps the dancefloor packed all night. The subtleties of his mixing is what is amazing about Mike. Every mix is flawless, EQ'ed perfectly, and with each track he plays comes a little more excitement - through the speakers and onto the dancefloor. People dance harder and get more hyped, but they don't know why....


ALEX HAJE (EMC, DC : SPANK, DC)

Alex is just as comfortable behind the decks as he is in the studio. But it's his skills as a DJ that has enabled him to rise quickly through the ranks, and you can now find him headlining in many of the top clubs in the DC area.

When Alex is on the decks you'll hear a flawless mix of anything you can call house music - deep, happy, funky, progressive and NY styles are always within his reach. Much of his technical precision comes from an innate understanding of the music he is playing, which he credits to the countless hours spent working and studying in his studio.
