SCOTT HENRY AND CHARLES FEELGOOD PRESENT

Thursday, August 5th, 2004
FEVER
OLD SCHOOL REUNION : 2004
at it's original home: PARADOX NIGHTCLUB

A Night of Great Memories and Music with Fever Founders and Resident DJ's
CHARLES FEELGOOD [Fever | www.djfeelgood.com | LA]

SCOTT HENRY [Fever | Cubik | www.buzzlife.com | DC]

Remember the infamous "Time to Get Ill" mixtape series? How about the unforgettable "Happy House" or "Catch the Buzz" tapes? Scott and Charles will be throwing down the tunes that rocked the dancefloors and earned Fever it's legendary status. In keeping with the party's true spirit, they will be mixing in the freshest underground cuts for a truely unique musical experience. Don't miss a rare opportunity to catch a glimpse of the Fever vibe.

Along with DJ's:
BUSTER [Snowball Collective | www.buzzlife.com | DC]
CHRIS BULLA [www.modernmusic.com | Kidz That Groove | MD]

What was Fever?
Ask any old-skool East Coast raver about Fever, and you’ll be flooded with stories about the intensity of the vibe, the energy of the crowd, the uniting of friends and the pounding beats of an emerging 90's techno culture. The brainchild of East Coast rave pioneers Scott Henry and Charles Feelgood, up to two-thousand kids from up and down the East Coast would congregate every other Thursday at the Paradox, the club at which Fever was held. Ravers lined up under a highway overpass hours before doors opened to ensure that they would get in.

What was Fever like?
Imagine a warehouse with two rooms of cutting-edge dance music, one of the best soundsystems on the East Coast, a skating rink-style snack bar, and an outdoor courtyard where exhausted dancers rested while trains sped by, horns blasting. Throw in a colorful mix of friendly ravers who took their dancing seriously, and you have all the ingredients for a Fever party.

An Event Like No Other.
Fever ran at the Paradox from December 1992 to May 2001, one of the longest running biweeklies ever in the US. The talent that came through Fever over the years was breathtaking: Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Robert Armani, DJ Rap, Judge Jules, 2 Bad Mice, Tall Paul, Derrick Carter, Dieselboy, Dara, Josh Wink, Sandra Collins, Keoki and many, many others.
