It's Monday, I wanna open a thread about the weekend

Haven't posted in a while. Wanted to reminisce (sp?) bout the weekend. What'd everyone do?
I partied on the subway for this electronica community benefit. Hella crazy shiznit. THis group called Conjugate Projekt held a benefit party on the "L" (Kinda like DC's Metro system). Each train had different DJs/music styles with different visual productions. TEch house, techno, dnb, breaks, trance. All these crazy visuals lighting up the subway cars. Plus the trains went on a route that was kind of an educational tour of Chicago's electronic/house music history.
THis would be something if they could do it in DC on the Metro trains. or maybe even within just one station/stop. CRAZINESS. Everyone was really skeptical about the event b/c Mayor Daley's dick about club licenses n sorts, but it went really smoothly. Everyone was representing a good and clean face for the electronica community. Almost everyone I talked to there was sober.
Plus, the proceeds went to a good cause.
