Q-PROJECT [ CIA | Hospital | Advanced ] - UK **5DNB DEBUT**

Like a modern-day Michelangelo, Q-Project is jungle's very own mastercraftsman. It's off the horse and into the Porsche, as he drops d&b anthems aplenty, and wins the hearts of bawdy wenches on dancefloors across the globe. "Hospital Record's Uber Caner" ™ (Mixmag) (who admits openly he cannot DJ sober), Quiff is champion of fast cars, fast girls and all night partying. "King Of The After Party" ™, Q-Project was recently spotted in Swansea in the early hours of Sunday morning. Reports indicate the night ended up with Quiff in a sauna with five mashed-up, naked Welshmen! His debut LP for Hospital contains 6 exclusive anthems, which have been getting serious rotation from the likes Fabio & Grooverider, Friction, Baron, High Contrast, and a whole host of other d&b stars. Don't sleep on this, ...but we'll understand if you have to take some time off to recover from this jungle-fueled, renaissance romp!!!



CYANTIFIC [ Hospital ] - UK

2006 is looking like it's gonna be a good year for Cyantific. With their debut album GHETTO BLASTER dropping like it's hot in spring, featuring collabs with MATRIX, LOGISTICS and DIANE CHARLEMAGNE expect big things! Our freelance Cyantists hail from the far flung reaches of South-West London. Jon & Matt have been making harsh tasty beats together since high school and were gathered up into the Hospital fold in summer 2002, after a tip off from High Contrast. With a series of 12"s, remixes and compilation appearances helping to build their diehard underground fanbase. In 2005 they released "DON'T FOLLOW" a storming fast soul classic which featured the vocal talents of the legendary DIANE CHARLEMAGNE, this brought their sound to a new audience and has remained in the boxes of many A-list d&b jocks ever since. Jon's DJ sets are something to behold too - this man has some serious skills, and he's on a mission to spread the gospel according to CYANTIFIC far and wide. Rumours are rife; that he practices for over 12 hours per day; that he has magic arms and fingers; that he has special communication links to reptilian beings from another planet. Hospital cannot confirm or deny these rumours.

Mastering the sounds of DC drum and bass, Bobby Jae never fails with his impeccable mixing and top-notch selection. Be sure to check out Bobby Jae's new highly anticipated mix, Upfront Drum n' Bass. This follow up to his URB Mix It Best classic, Perpetual Motion, is a veritable showcase of the liquid, funky sounds that many artists on the Upfront Industries roster are currently cultivating.

Hitoi's flavor of dnb is strongly influenced by her house background with groovy melodies and catchy basslines. Favoring labels such as Hospital and Commercial Suicide and artists including Commix and Artificial Intelligence, her unique sound turning heads locally and beyond. Watch out as she warms things up at Club Five tonight.
