BREAKAGE [ Scientific Wax | Bassbin ] - UK

Bursting onto the scene in 2001 with an explosive, unofficial remix of Doc Scott's classic Here Come The Drums, which tore up many a dancefloor, including the legendary Metalheadz Sunday Sessionz. His ability to turn his hand to any style he fancies is perhaps James' strongest point. From the dubby stylings of So Vain and Out of Reach, through the liquid leanings of his collaborations with Metalheadz resident DJ Flight as Alias, and onto the pure breakbeat science he unleashes on Inperspective, James excels at whatever he turns his hand to. As with the other Inperspective artists, though, James' personal favourites are signed to the I. In addition to his collaborations with DJ Flight, James plans to work with Equinox in the near future, and would love to work with other artists such as Tangerine Dream and James Lavelle.



EVOL INTENT [ Renegade Hardware | Human ] - ATL **5DNB DEBUT**

Over the last few years, Evol Intent has emerged as one of the leading forces in the United States Drum and Bass movement. Both as a label and as a production trio, Evol Intent are considered some of the biggest up and coming talents in the entire dnb industry. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia the crew consists of Knick, Gigantor and The Enemy. Apart from being a production outfit, Evol Intent also owns and operates their own label, which functions as an outlet for their own work as well as like-minded artists.

Evol Intent has officially gone worldwide and will prove to be one of the hardest working outfits in drum & bass with non-stop DJ international tour dates, a heavy release schedule of originals and remixes for some of the top labels and artists in the scene, and even their own clothing online shop (opening soon!). The trio also has plans to launch a full on LIVE show in the next year.


INSULIN [ Type 1 Recordings ] - DC

Founded in 2001 by Insulin, Type 1 Recordings was originally designed to be a small digital label and promotion company. After throwing several successful events under the Equal banner and holding monthly parties in 04 and 05 at Rendezvous Lounge. A change in focus was needed within Type 1. 2006 has gone on to see Type 1 become a full out publishing company for the creative works of Insulin. With production soon to be featured in television, Type 1's future looks to be very bright.


BOBBY JAE [ Upfront | 5DNB ] - DC

Mastering the sounds of DC drum and bass, Bobby Jae never fails with his impeccable mixing and top-notch selection. Be sure to check out Bobby Jae's new highly anticipated mix, Upfront Drum n' Bass. This follow up to his URB Mix It Best classic, Perpetual Motion, is a veritable showcase of the liquid, funky sounds that many artists on the Upfront Industries roster are currently cultivating.


LYCAN [ Dirtbox Radio ] - DC

Proudly representing the Dirtbox Radio crew, Lycan depicts his idea of Drum and Bass from an array of musical influences including The Prodigy, Mindless Self Indulgence, Blackalicious, Brother Ali, The Deftones and many, many more. Despite being a newcomer to the club scene, he has been expressing his profound passion for music as a DJ for 7 years. So, to all the music lovers who enjoy action-packed, epic Drum and Bass, do your ears a favor and catch one of his sets.
