Weekend of May3-5

Ok, some people said that they want to make a trip to Atlantic City. Steve Lawler is spinnning at Vinyl on the 4th and I'm thinkning of making a road trip up to see him, 'cos the only other time I saw him doing an extended set was at Twilo and the guy was incredible.

So maybe spending the day Sat. in AC then driving up for Lawler and then back down to AC afterwards might work.

Any takers?

I would go to, but the problem I have is that once I sit down, or even step foot in a casino I have a little problem leaving. If s7d was in the next room spinning and I was at a table I would bet the house that I wouldn't go see them. So I would probably bag the NYC part and just stick with the AC....count me in...

I know the feeling on not being able to leave.

We need to get together, sometime where we can actually talk about the trip. Anyone up for a SAT afternoon meet-up to discuss this?

yeah, we can meet.....hmm..well nautilus is un Baltimore, so I suppose he would not be able to drive down specifically for that meeting....nourishment in Richmond, same thing...pgiddy already says he'll go to AC...I'll go to AC regardless, but if possible I'll also go to NYC...hell, I'll go to NYC regardless for Lawler.

How about meeting at Summers on Sat afternoon?

Works out perfect for me, I stay in Ballston on the weekends, I think Summers is right near there. Although there really isn't much to discuss, but I'll grab some food and watch the Yanks beat the red sox!

Although I will also admit to having a problem leaving the craps table. I get tunnel vision and tend to elbow anyone who tries to talk to me, even the drink girl,who under other circumstances, I would be exceptionally nice to.

although i do agree with pgiddy that there isnt really much to discuss. i think its just a poor excuse for 3 losers to do something on a saturday afternoon, i'll forgoe the fries and burgers and go for the salad instead, 'cos i'm on a diet.
