  1. It was an issue with the amp. I changed in a new amp with all of the existing wiring configuration and the newly added amp worked just fine. Had to be bad channels? Like I said it lit up, the speakers would sometimes work but mostly not. When they did work there was this buzzing/interference sound. Think it can be fixed? Worth sending out to Kicker to be checked out (not under any warranty that I'm aware of)?
  2. Ok all you car audio doctors here is my problem: For the past few days the audio from my door speakers comes and goes. Its currently out and doesn’t seem to be coming back this time. When it goes out there is still bass from the subs though. The amp to the door speakers still lights up so its getting power; I’ve checked the connections to the amp and all are solid. Ideas? I have a few suspicions: 1. Bad RCA or remote wiring, can a mulimeter test RCA cables? 2. Faulty amp (though it is a quality Kicker, approx 2 yrs old) 3. Loose ground, but doesn’t explain why the sub amp still works. I’ve since moved out of state from where I had the install done and don’t know of a good place to troubleshoot in the area and wanted to get a few opinions before I disassemble looking for the issue.
