  1. Nelly Petkova’s well-produced video “Lucky One†featuring Miro Gee is a fast paced dance groove that is absolutely smoking. Just right for the house, the club, or anywhere you want to dance, this is one track that you just can’t sit still on. Petkova’s exudes energy and when she aims to please, she gets her way, and with lyrics like “Show me what you got/Get me hot/Don’t you want to have it?†Petkova almost emits flames from the screen in one sexy, smoldering outfit after another as she teases and taunts the viewer with her looks, voice and style. Music lovers of all genres will embrace “Lucky One†and the dance floor will be filled to capacity when this steamy single is on. Nelly Petkova feat. Miro Gee - "Lucky One"
  2. Pop artist Transporta transports you to a different time and place with his new release, “I Wanna Dance With You.†It’s a fast paced, moving and grooving dance track with a great beat, and a nice bass and synth, along with computer generated vocal manipulations to make it even better. The song has a dance hall style without the breaks, and is definitely one for movers and shakers. The track and video have so much energy flowing, that if you’re not dancing to it, you must be comatose. The video, which was shot at a club and is very well produced, shows everyone jamming to the beat as Transporta hones in on the hottest girl there and moves in, ready for the pursuit and the catch. As he praises her beauty and his need to dance with her, the viewer is taken on a musical journey that is just plain fun. The video also showcases some serious dancing talent, including that of Transporta himself. “I Wanna Dance With You†should be mandatory on the playlist at any club, if they’re interested in getting the party started and keeping it going, that is. With lyrics like, "I like the way you’re working that pole/ The way you’re moving so under control/†says it all as Transporta smoothly lays it down and you dance, dance, dance. The music is strong with a pulse that can only result in much movement and partying. Transporta - "I Wanna Dance With You" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLvB7y3nOts

  4. The video “Pump It†by DJ Blaine & Barona featuring Lane McCray is a dance/synth fusion that will rock the clubs and keep those inside happy and on their feet. It’s the kind of jam that is for serious dancers who know how to move and love to do it. Showcasing the singer and dancers in the parking lot, in the club, and in the groove – this one is all about the dance. The singer inspires you to join him with great music and lyrics like, “On the floor/In the club/Make your body touch the sky/Feel the groove/Pump the move/Spread your wings/Now you fly/You can pump it!â€/ Full of dance energy, lights, music, and movement, “Pump It†holds the viewer’s attention with the singer’s energy and the party surrounding the video. It’s a dance party explosion – one that’s not to be missed. You can pump it! "PUMP IT" Dj Blaine & Barona feat. Lane McCray
  5. The video "We Miss You" by hip hop/R&B artist Mase is a well-produced, sophisticated and savvy video that is a beautiful tribute to his father who passed away. It depicts a son who has obvious material successes, and suggests that the influence of his father helped him to make the choices that allow him to live that way. In the video and track, Mase brings you into his world as he shows and tells how his father's demise all went down, and it's an emotional and touching experience. He's singing a song of remembrance and honor for the fatherly support and love that he knew and lost, asking the question "What am I supposed to do in this crazy world without you?" and issuing affirmative and heartfelt statements like "I am never gonna forget all the time you spent with me". The song should serve as an inspiration to all fathers to do what a loving one like his did – to shape the future that one has created. The music is a good accompaniment to lyrics that are gripping and never let go. The track has a nice beat with a somewhat mysterious sound of electronic water, a nice guitar with background, and accompanying female vocals that are fantastic. "We Miss You" is a must see, must hear video and track. Watch "We Miss You" on YouTube:
  6. Terrance Quaites, also known as the Artist "TQ" has been making music for most of his life. At a certain point in every artists career there comes a time to use what you've learned to create your own. That opportunity for TQ is right here right now. Kado Records is the name of the partnership between Mrs. Laura Zatezalo of New Orleans and TQ. "I think the best teams are made by people who have opposite strengths and weaknesses and that's me and Laura. We make a good team." explains TQ. Kado's first release of 2011 is new artist JMidd out of Atlanta, GA. His new single is called "Up Up and Away" and will be available next week on iTunes and most other online stores. The song features TQ on the second verse and is the unofficial theme song for NBA superstar Dwight Howard and his charity "Shooting Stars". "JMidd is a different kind of artist" says Laura or "Mrs. Z" as everyone around the label calls her, "He wants to line himself up with positivity. He keeps his music clean and his subject matter is always something that you wouldn't mind your kids listening to. Dwight's charity is the perfect partner for JMidd and this new single." A large portion of the proceeds for the new single goes directly to Shooting Stars for the betterment of inner city youth in America. "I'm interested in building the next great Indie label here" explains TQ. "I think we have the right people and the right resources to ensure that this company puts out great music from great artists for years to come. That's my goal. That's my reason for getting down with this. There's a new music industry in 2011. One that is different from the past but not so hard to understand... Kado Records understands. 7. Industry veteran, music producer and radio personality Jay King celebrates two years on the internet airwaves this April with his show "The Way I See It" on BlogTalkRadio.com/Jay-King (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/jay-king). With a fan base that has grown exponentially over the years, King is forever pushing the envelope with subject matters that provoke, stimulate and incite conversation as well as controversy. In recognition of his show's success, King is planning several topics designed to have the phone lines ringing off the Richter scale. On Sunday, March 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm PST, King will discuss "Walking Outside the Lines...The Charlie Sheen Effect." Explains King, "I love what Charlie Sheen is doing. He's pushing envelopes, opening up minds, challenging authority and daring us all to be different. The Charlie Sheen Effect is in essence anytime someone looks, acts and speaks differently from what mainstream society deems 'normal.' I am down with the Charlie Sheen Effect. I don't believe he's about to crash and burn or is coming down from some incredible high. I believe Charlie has tapped into something most of us are acutely afraid of and that's his greater self!" Monday, March 21, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm PST "The Great Ones Music Series" is launched as King chronicles great moments and memories in soul and funk music. The series will continue every Monday and Wednesday for the next several weeks highlighting live interviews with Con Funk Shun's Michael Cooper and Felton Pilate; Sugar Foot from the Legendary Ohio Players; Lakeside's Fred Alexander and Stephen Shockley; the Bar-Kays' Larry Dodson and James Alexander; soul crooner Lenny Williams; and Earth Wind and Fire's Larry Dunn and Ralph Johnson. "The Way I See It" originally began as a weekly show airing on Sundays from 2:00 - 4:00 pm PST on www.blogtalkradio.com/jay-king. The popularity of the show has warranted its expansion to Mondays and Wednesdays, with the show engaging listeners three times weekly now! Real life issues are addressed every Sunday and on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm PST, King tackles the different elements of the music business. Jay King continues to press the buttons technology has put in front of him to create as many platforms as possible for the continual distribution of accurate information and real facts. His goal is to educate and inspire not only the young up and coming artist but also the seasoned veteran. In addition to "The Way I see It," King is a sought after music producer, manager and consultant, constantly forging new inroads with emerging technology and social marketing platforms. He is working on his second solo musical release, "Helen's Son," in addition to a new release entitled "Consciousness," from his Grammy Award winning group, Club Nouveau, who he still tours with. Keep up with Jay King at http://www.jayking.ning.com and http://www.clubnouveau.ning.com. Listen to "The Way I See It" every Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm PST and every Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm PST on http://www.blogtalkradio.com/jay-king.
  8. Phil Jourdan of the musical duo Dawn Of the Gecko announced today that their debut album "Raised in the Gecko," has been released and is currently available for purchase on iTunes and other online retailers. The five track EP features a delightful assortment of cabaret-electronic rock songs mixed with comical lyrics and beats that don't disappoint. Describing their genre, Jourdan said, "If it's melodramatic, campy and upbeat, you're halfway there. If you incorporate a look of theatrical nonsense into the music and you tell a story, you're even closer. But I'd say the main thing is to be faithful to the spirit of cabaret, with its grotesqueness and its creepy vibe." Jourdan, along with partner Sam Folkes, is creating music that serves the dual purpose of both sounding great and making you laugh. Their second EP, "Gecko! Echo! Echo!" is already in the process of being completed, and is expected to be released in late March, 2011. Dawn Of The Gecko currently performs in local bars, but have their sights set on other venues as well. The pair met in 2010 through a friend, to whom they have since dedicated a song ("Jim's Girl"), and discovered they both liked to make music. Their friendship was solidified when they became roommates after Folkes decided to move to Leamington. Though they didn't know it at the time, a musical match made in heaven was about to be born. Though both were musicians prior to meeting, neither had the passion that they now both have with Dawn Of The Gecko. Jourdan commented, "I've been playing guitar and bass since high school, though I never took it very seriously and prefer to sing when possible. We both like to geek around with sounds, though Sam's been at it far longer than I have. I used to play little one-man comedy gigs — then I stopped for several years. It was only after meeting Sam that I decided to play live again. We play a gig weekly here in Leamington Spa, where we also live." Folkes studied Music Composition and Technology at the University of Hertfordshire and has had a lifelong interest in music. He began playing the piano at age fifteen as a result of being such a huge fan of Boogie-Woogie. While the pair came up with the band's name in five minutes by randomly choosing words, selecting their sound took a bit longer. "Initially, we simply wanted to make funny cabaret songs, but given Sam's love for electronic music and my interest in heavy rock, we quickly expanded the sound and different things until we were happy with the "Gecko sound". That "Gecko sound" consists of Jourdan on guitar, bass, and singing vocals, with Folkes on piano and doing the programming and mixing. Coming up with the concept of doing Cabaret-electronica music was a somewhat natural evolution of things that the Dawn of the Gecko band members had been doing on their own. "We were mostly interested in doing stupid pantomime-style stuff when we started out. The comedy bit seemed obvious — we both like not to take our music too seriously. The electronica influences (as well as the occasional industrial influences) came later, when we tried to make the songs sound more original, more relevant to our interests. Not all of our songs are meant to be hilarious, but they're all pretty stupid lyrically, and they incorporate silly little melodies. "Raised In The Gecko" can be purchased at: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/raised-in-the-gecko/id408009704 http://www.reverbnation.com/dawnofthegecko

  11. Website: http://www.mymoismusic.com/ My M.O.'s first official release is a 6 track EP featuring remixes by the emotionally-charged indie electronic single "Monkey". Dance and dubstep remixes by Doctrations of the Netherlands and HNH (HandinHand) of Brooklyn, NY. The EP includes two bonus tracks, the reggae infused, "Around the World" & and the Blondie inspired, "Lets Go Back." The Brooklyn based group is making waves with their first release, the "Monkey Remix EP" and their debut album coming out this fall, but they are also busy playing live shows on the NYC circuit with their five piece band, which includes keys, bass, guitar, drums and percussion. My M.O., is comprised of three young women hailing from different countries whose musical style is a harmonic blending of sounds that create a thumpin' pop mix of ethereal beats and lyrics. Though it should be said, that because the band has such a subtle hand in culling together such a broad range of sound, it's nearly impossible to peg them into any specific genre. So, let's just say this: The music is damn good. By Max Eternity for Eklektx.com Here in the U.S. polygamy might be frowned upon (by conservatives), but in the video to My M.O.'s new single, "Monkey," the band makes you think, "Hey, why not?" It's funny to think about having your cake and eating it too, but Dion, Katy and Erika, the ladies of My M.O. take the lifestyle more seriously by holding a spiritual ceremony to give their unconventional relationship the respect it deserves. Sorry, it's not exactly the tale of unrequited love the way Woody Allen would have pictured. My M.O. at least make it to the wedding. By Richard "Treats" Dryden Download the Monkey Remix EP! 13. Website: http://www.planetjes.com Music: http://music.aol.com/video/closer/jes/bc:292353117001 Los Angeles - August 2nd, 2010 - JES is an artist who fully inhabits her music, building on the passion of all her previous works that stir deep emotions. As each song soars, she creates a palpable connection with her audience, whether it's between the ears on an iPod, acoustically in a small venue, or by tens of thousands in an arena. Her newest single, "Closer," from HIGH GLOW pulls from the pop genre with the roots of the song deep in Rocktronica. "Closer" is a journey into an unforgettable sonic photograph - fusing pop, futuristic electro-dance rhythms and riffs with JES' uniquely touching vocal performance. The new single brings all fans one-step "Closer" together as the song features a universal allure. The new single will be available worldwide including online at iTunes, Amazon.com, UltraRecords.com, BlackHolerecordings.com, and select retail outlets worldwide. The brand new track exhibits strong mainstream crossover appeal and has already created a swarm of remixes. "Closer" features a stellar supporting lineup with many of the hottest remix talent policing the beats. Bimbo Jones takes the floor on a dreamy electro-house journey to the heart of JES' ethereal vocals, as the Coco Channel's Klub Edit grooves its way through "Closer" with plenty of breathy JES vocal treatment. Jim Jacobsen pares down "Closer" to an introspective, minimal sound with soul-tingling touches of dub and Twisted Disko takes a sassy midnight trip through "Closer" morphing vocals and melody into a sonic Picasso. Josh Harris' lush remix is a harmonic summer sunset laced with danceable builds & breaks. Newcomers, Marc Lime & K Bastian's synthy affair evokes a swanky eighties dance floor with its fierce melody. Loverush UK!'s production and JES' vocals combine in a rare and passionate embrace that you don't ever want to end, while Kris O'Neil's remix is the deepest and bassists of the bunch with flashy drums and huge vocal drops. JES' video for "Closer" is rich with all the vibrancy that's expected of JES. From her structured outfits to her colorful makeup and signature crystal-like eyepiece, everything about her here is extravagant. At the same time, none of this takes away from what is a killer performance video. The clip starts off with JES and her backup dancers holding long rods of light that are used to illuminate the tight choreography that ensues throughout the video. "Closer" offers a great visual of lighting, mirror and camera tricks as you see JES in different perspectives. In one frame, you even see JES at her most intimate where her makeup is bare and her hair is let down. Her presence demands attention like no other, and amidst all of the dancing and different lighting, you'll feel like you're in a club yourself alongside by JES. Produced by Katheryne KTEE Thomas and directed by Ian Lyman and JES, this video's message is as deep and touching as JES' voice itself.
