INTRODUCING JOHN DIGWEED'S NEW RADIO SHOW
From his early days in Hastings in the UK, and with the most solid of foundations, don of dance John Digweed is one of the most respected DJ's in the world today. Surviving the rigorous tests of time, Digweed's work has long been synonymous with fine originality as his albums for Renaissance, Global Underground, Bedrock, and the classic Northern Exposure series with Sasha can testify.
Radio stations worldwide have long requested John to present his own radio show. Yet aside from his regular and continued slot on London's Kiss 100, which has achieved a cult status with listeners trading CD's and MP3 files from his show over the web, the answer has always been 'No'... But making advancements is John's strong point, and so this month marks the beginning of his brand new weekly radio show named 'Transitions'.
'Transitions' promises to be the ultimate radio experience for fans of electronic music, combining the quality, ingenuity and integrity that is associated with any John Digweed project. 'Transitions' will be produced and syndicated by The Radio Department, whose other projects include 'Carl Cox-Global', which is now airing in over 12 major territories worldwide.
"'Transitions' is every electronic music fan's dream radio show. John Digweed's music and performances have wowed dance floors for the last decade, and he's now able to do the same on the world's radio airwaves. This is a true global radio event!", said Gavin Kingsley, producer of the show, to Xpander.
The two-hour weekly radio show will feature the cream of the international electronic music scene featuring big name guest DJ's, complemented by the best new underground talent selected by Diggers himself, as well as studio and live mixes recorded throughout John's extensive global travels.
'Transitions' will launch across five continents over the coming months, so stop by at johndigweed.com regularly for more details. (10/19/04)

22 – Erick Morillo
21 – Steve Lawler
20 – Danny Howells
18 – Benni Benassi
14 – Judge Jules
13 – ATB
I'm well aware of how these lists are compiled (thus explaining the plethora of UK hardhouse DJs toward the bottom of the list), yet how any of these other guys (Benni Benassi , Judge Jules, ATB) made this list ahead of DT, Morillo, Lawler, Howells, Morales, Hawtin is incomprehensible, no matter where the bulk of the voting takes place.

1. getting rid of the staff who used to run XS and ADV as DJ.
2. the sale of imposter Coronas coupled with no red bull.
3. people aren't taking as much E as they were back in the late 90's (if any at all)
4. people just getting tired of going to the same clubs week after week, year after year.
5. Having to drive to a somewhat decent beach if your house isn't in Ortley.
I personally didn't like the 4am closing. I liked getting out of the clubs with a few hours to spare before the sun came up and feelings of total worthleseness set in.

King Unique did a mix of it

From the inside of the CD:
contains a sample of Swallow's - Peekaboo and Follow me Down on 4AD records.

James Holden - Balance 005
IMO...album of the year
Balance 005 cd 1 is phenomenal. If you like that disc, check out other stuff by petter, mfa, and infusion.

deep dish - penetrate deeper, yoshiesque vol. 1, either of the GU toronto afterclub discs.
Other discs not much like the Djs mentioned but still good: Timewriter, any Terry Lee Brown Jr.
Live sets from DD, HOwells, Roland

Throw 4 slices on the BBQ w/ cheese no eggs and use ketchup or hot dog sauce (from Libby's or Hot Grill) and put it on a potato roll.

Get ADV back there, let him play whatever he want and then maybe XS Fri and Sats can be salvaged.

trancesetters - roaches (orig mix)

i think the version we are used to hearing is done by Benny Maze v. Madam, but I the record says there is an orignal done by Stephane K and Katsu Imai under the name Madam.
-
If you are trying to find it, it's Deepest Jungle by M.I.K.E. on Bonzai records or it's on DT's global underground Athens.
-
as to the first track its Wack Ass M.F. - rhythmkillaz. It's on subliminal sessions vol. 1.
