  1. willandslater...where is 54?

    gqraver, lol, do your thing.

nyc420...Your right Joe's Pub is good on Sats, if you were there 2 weeks ago I think I was there. Bald head black guy in all black, but that's like 1/3 of the room :D

    crystalmethod..Cream is really good..

    really relaxed loung/club vibe...

and the dj is usually good...

why can't there be a hip hop counter part to exit?

the tunnel and the old paladium was the closet thing..is there anything like that again?

  2. tizzah...

Tribeca is ok...its like 5 minutes from my house so I usually go there in laziness...

    3 floors and rooms...SPANISH, CLUB, HIP HOP/REGGAE

Sat's its packed but mostly spanish crowd, spanish floor is packed hip hop room is okay..but very "clicky" night..

Thursdays are getting better..hip hop thursdays..only onhe floor is open though, the hip hop room...a lil empty but cheap

Don't know bout Gravity lounge but thats a hop, skip and a jump a way girl...

    Club Joy is good.

    Nice ambience..

    diverse crowd...

two huge rooms with different music..

I'd go back again....last time I went there was a huge fight, it actually ripped the door off the club and someone got a ladder broke over his head...hopefully that will never happen again...

thanks for the info..haven't really heard anyplace in NJ that I haven't heard of thats getting more popular....maybe someone needs to open something that hopefully the town won't shut down ;)

People are always scared of fights though....

  3. Carib is a really good spot but it way in New Rochelle and you have to get dressed up dressed up..which I don't mind..but sometimes you don't want a big ordeal....I never seen any fights

I been to Carib a bunch of times...

    Jimmy's...

    Big Club...VERY crowded...

one time I went and I was on coat check for AN HOUR and a HALF. Good music but

Bad thing about jimmy's is that it is very clicky. Wanna be big Willy's go there flossing with alize in the roped section. The guys there are all standing around trying to get with the girls..and the girls are all standing around trying to be to cute and get drinks....

The dance floor is huge but most of the people are just standing around....

Another thing is any club with just one floor is not to good because you want to have a variety..some times you want to hear salsa and merengue, sometimes you want hip hop and reggae....you show have at least two different rooms...

The bar is ridiculous...you gotta drop kick people to walk by..

Thats the problem when a place gets to popular

All ... ALOT of fights..I actually had blood splatter on me...

So as you can tell I haven't been to Jimmy's in a minute,

did I mention my car window got smashed there also?

I was hoping there are some new places just starting to blow up..

like E'toile on w56 and park. Or Club Joy, kaligirl you might like those places....

  4. HOBOKEN serves its purpose, as a lil bit more then a local spot but not exactly a big overpriced club. Its not for city rejects, but for people who wants some of what the city has to offer in a 5 mile radius.

    Sometimes you feel like Exit..

Sometimes you Feel like River street

but the difference can be a fun $20 dollar night and a fun $75 - $100 dollar night...

    everybody can't buy crystal :)

  5. Cigs ... Thanks for the info and I understand where your coming from. I listen to live bands also; salsa/merengue, jazz, rock...

    I love to dance though.

I actually went to DIVA, wednesday before thanksgiving it was so packed I didn't even try to get in!

Kitty...lol, fine I can respect that. I also listen to House, Trance, Progressive, Techno and 2 step...just depends on my mood

You must not like moving to the beat when you dance

    just joking :)

BUT HOW CAN YOU GUYS NOT LIKE HIPHOP/R&B/REGGAE!

No accounting for taste anyway :D

  6. WHERE ARE THEY??

As a frequent clubber and party goer...I'm looking to find good lounges and/or clubs in North Jersey which doesn't just play house or club but has a large section for hip hop/reggae

and if they are any lounges/clubs that play just hip hop and reggae...

    mixed crowd

    21 +

sometimes I'm too lazy to cross the bridge :D

    Thanks in Advance...
