  1. Nothing bad to say about the guy. He is a better producer/remixer than he is a dj. His sets usually consist of most or all of his producions which I'm not a big fan of. His dirty trancing CD had some dodgy mixing. He now has a bimonthly residency at Twilo.
  2. I work at Cabrini Med Cntr and Mt Sinai. Also, the reason I can't go to Vinyl is because I'll be in the Hamptons. I've never been... Going to catch Oakie there this weekend. I'm sure we'll bump into each other one of these days. easy!
  3. Do u need any djs??? Who do u guys have in mind??
  4. No, I stayed in on friday. Had to work this weekend. I heard it was an amazing set. Rumor has it that he's supposed to play his upcoming Global Underground-London cd next friday. Wish I can make it to that.
  5. He'll be there... Next Saturday August 19th Set time around 1 am (3hr set) Adv tix $35 Door $50 I'll post the details on where to get the advance tickets.
  6. Danny Tenaglia then comes Digweed
  7. Nero is one of the best. I happen to use Apaptec's Easy Cd creator. Never had a problem with it.
  8. That's right. Mr. C schooled the Limelight and showed them what real music sounds like... First off, I'd like to point out that I've never been there on a Saturday. From what I've heard about the crowd, it's a pretty diverse and mainstream crowd. Sure enough, everyone was right. The crowd, clueless. Now, it's nights like these that you really appreciate clubs like Twilo and Vinyl because most clubbers there have some clue on what's going on. That wasn't the case last night. Everyone looked a bit confused. Mr C played an amazing set. He did a 3 hour set which started around 130 am. The only track that I recognized was Simon- Free at last. That's it! The crowd sucked. Beer boys on top of stage were pouring drinks on people walking by. They should of gotten kicked out. Oh, and the one thing I thought was funny was I saw this girl dancing and she seemed like she was really havin' it. I go up to her and asked her if she knew who the dj was. She replied back saying it was BORIS. I wasn't expecting to hear that one... I was LMAO!!! Is that who the resident is on Saturdays?? Anyone else go last night????
  9. Hercules, Sorry to hear about your past experience with LL. I can tell you that tonight is one night to go. Mr C from London is an amazing dj up there with the top ones. I'm sure his residents Layo & Bushwacka! will be there. They're supposed to play tomorrows Matter-Form boat party along with John Selway. Hope it doesn't rain!
  10. I'll be there.. I have never been to LL on a Saturday. People have said it's a cheezy crowd but it won't affect me. I'm going to hear some serious tunes! He really knows how to set it off. Anywhere from tech-house to some really funky shit. No trance at this party...
  11. Apparently they changed venues. Mr C is set to play at Limelight instead. He will play a 3 hr set. Anyone have a list going around for that night???
  12. Fun. 10pm, $5. The 'Til Noon boys take over Fun (and hopefully will have some)at this monthly fiesta. 13. Thanks bro.. Your comments are appreciated!
  14. Supposedly September 18th but you never know. Seaman's GU release got pushed back a couple of weeks and is being released on 8.14.00 Some are saying that this will be the best GU to date. I can agree to that.
  15. Diaz was a no show. Que did an excellent job of filling in. Que will be at FUN this Thursday night for those that are interested...
  16. You're right Nicole. I just checked and johnb was also right to begin with. Sorry for posting the wrong info. They must of recently changed it. I'm not too crazy about the limelight. Cheezy crowd, but I'll go to see Mr. C
  17. If im not mistaken, its Layo & Bushwacka!. I would call first... I didn't recieve my email from them so I'm not sure. If so, it will be worth it. These guys are HOT!
  18. U must me talking about the program called protools. Sure.. Lots of djs use it, but not all of them. Nick Warren won't. I don't quite remember if Danny did with Athens.
  19. No, LImelight is the David Sigmund crew on Saturdays. Mr C will definitely be at Centro. Finally, some good music to dance to on a Saturday. It should be like this every weekend!
  20. For those that are interested, London's own Mr. C from the End club will be back in NYC for another tech house session. If you missed his last appearance at Saphire Lounge, he'll be back this Saturday for a 3 hour set at Centro Fly. Get ready for that Subterrain funk!
  21. We're back for more! This Thursday August 10, 'Til Noon Productions kicks off there monthly residency at Fun! Thanks to everyone who has come out and supported at the last 3 parties. They were such a huge success that we have been asked to continue tearing things up. As always, the sounds of the nite will be provided by 'til noon residents Bill Patrick and Que alongside James "Superstar" Bem of Satellite. Vinyl starts rotating at 10. Fun 130 madison st.
