people are always reminiscing about how things used to b back years ago...i wish i was living down here then to know what went down....moved down here almost 3 years ago......before i moved here i went to exit and centro fly a few times and a rave, but ever since i got here and started going out regularly all i hear about is how the scene is dead now...from what i hear people say, it seems like everything was so much better, better people, clubs, message boards<??>....
w/e maybe so, i still have fun now when i go out, just wish i knew to really compare

Yep "SFB (Sound Factory Bar)"!... From 1989-1996... Frankie Knuckles was DJing there (The Whistle Song - 1st Anthem)... As you've said "Twilo" replaced it in 96! And it's present day "Spirit"!

Sound Factory Bar was all gay and later changed its name to CHEETAH which is now closed.
Original Sound Factory was on 27th street
