Hey, don't live in NYC no more, but whatever happened to Life or the space?

I figure lot of management/promoter in these new clubs are my age, late 20's who used to be the club kids at, limelight, arena, sf, tunnel, et al. After seeing what had work, you figured they will know what to do to make the place happening. I got no prob with clubs trying to be upscale and all that but you got to realize the VIP market thrives it might see obvious, IMPORTANT PERSON, u're not very important if u're sitting in a VIP section that takes up half the size of the club which means u're just as important as the other 50%. VIP thrives in a place where there is a line of 500 ppl waiting outside and you get to waltz right in. Focus on turning your place where you can have 500 ppl waiting outside and the VIP market will open right up. If you focus your business on the VIPs, there won't be no 500 ppl waiting to get in.

It was this past saturday the 28th, yup no id checking no anal probe, no frisking, no metal detector, they did stop some dude that was trying to go in with jeans, other than that, walk right in and hand in your $30. It was about 1:30pm.

Ok it was kind of a disappointment, its been a while since i've been in NYC last time @ exit, was back in thanksgiving and that rocked, this time around, no carding, no search, the door guy was just opening up the ropes and letting everyone in, wasn't packed at all. energy wasn't there, people was just standing around.

DJs generally tend to play what they think the crowd enjoys, i see it so many times now that I'm living in san fran, even NYC DJs that come here played a much groovier type house than the darker, deeper stuff they usually play out in NYC. Guess its all about playing to the crowd.

club2k at venetian was pretty good when i was there, S&D was spinning.

NYC probably got some of the best tap water around, especially in the winter when it comes in nice and cold. Go refills!

Pretty good not too speedy, about a 2 hour peak.

Ruby Skye and Manhattan lounge in SF is probably the closest thing u can find in terms or NYC type house.

Wait a sec, why do u have to like one and hate the other, I've been to all three (SF/Twilo/Exit) and I like them all, so there are some more unwanted ppl in Exit than lets say the other 2 but these clubs are big enuf where u can just go somewhere else. Going to the same place over and over gets a little boring after a while, a change of venue is what keeps going out fun.

ATB 2 Worlds is good too.

Yeah I suggest to stay away as well, makes u just want to puke and sleep. Not very good party drug anyhow in that respect. The high is similar to drink half a bottle of scotch or something.

Sex is probably good enuf to cure any depression. But I'm not too worried about the depression, its the same as going back to work after a week vacation in maui or something like that.
