  1. I doubt they're coming to NYC.. it's too late in the game. I don't think any club will host them now, since the event will be only 2 weeks away. How much promotion can you achieve in only 2 weeks? I mean the people that browse CP, NB and EZ would know right away but the people on these boards represents such a small portion of their fan base. I don't think clubs will take a risk and paying delta heavy $$$ when they might not be able to bring many people into the club/venue due to short notice

and that wasn't early 90's rave clothing, that was what skaters were wearing and also what Velveta cheeseballs were wearing that attended Essense and Nasa parties.(I'm not ripping on skaters just commercial raves from 93 - 95)

anybody remember those shirts that said, "FUCK RAVERS"

then the ravers had a shirt that said, "FUCK SKATERS"

and one time I was shit faced and got into a stupid argument b/c some nimrod had a shirt that said "FUCK GRAFFITTI"

Early 90's clothing for a RAVE (bklyn underground) was a t-shirt, jeans and nikes...

yeah my first rave was Storm Rave 2 in 1992 in Staten Island.. Everyone was in jeans and t-shirts. Nasa and Satellite (In NYC) propelled the whole Raver style of wearing big jeans and colorful T-shirts.

  4. The Head Of The Charles® Regatta, the world's largest two-day rowing event, was first held on October 16, 1965. The race was established by the Cambridge Boat Club members D'Arcy MacMahon, Howard McIntyre, and Jack Vincent, with the audience of Harvard University sculling instructor Ernest Arlett. Arlett proposed that a "head of the river" race similar in tradition to races held in his native England, be held on the Charles River. "Head" races, a class of regattas, are generally three miles long-boats race against each other and the clock, starting sequentially approximately fifteen seconds apart. Winners of each race receive the honorary title of "Head of the River" or, in this case, "Head Of The Charles."

  5. DT and JV's style is so different, I don't understand people even comparing the two. I used to be a Huge Junior fan. I was @ fatory, the road show, tunnel, Arena and a little of juniorverse I'm not really too into his music now adays but I still have respect for him. I now go see DT as much as possible, because I perfer his music more. both are great @ what they do. I have a certain expectation when I hear junior and I have different expectations when I hit vinyl. They both still turn me out!!

DT get's a small fee and a cut of the door @ vinyl.. He basically does if for fun. Not for the money. Vinyl would not be able to afford him @ market price

  7. Question for the phamacists out there. I know you need to show a piture ID if you're getting a schedule II drug (codine, Desoxyn, demerol, etc). Do you need to show ID for schedule III drugs? (tylenol #3, vicodin, etc)??
