I can't believe Dolik brought up Michael......That's who introduced me to clubbing and promoting.....I worked for him for yrs.....that's wild.......Dolik that's also why I said in my reply to your thread "Are Clubs just a phase" That my world and the world around me fell apart.......Anyway...I guess there are alot of shady heads in the promoting game because I was talking to one of those newsletter services and they were saying how they don't deal with promoters because if the promoters feel that the service didn't provide enough people they choose to not pay them...That's fucked up....If someone does their job but, people don't want to go to your party.......Let's be honest who's fault is that..........I guess some people just can't handle the truth...

Ever since I worked @ Limelight I been in love with the whole scene....All Iwant in life..Is my own CLUB......I already designed the inside......Hope to see some u @ J st.

I don't think promoting has anything to do with status.......It's about getting people together for the sole purposes of creating a positive vibe and I pay for everything out of my own pocket and don't make a dime.....I do it because I love the music and the scene.......

As we speak......The thread above this is a promo....For Westchester's hottest dance clubs......I lived in West-Chester Oakland Beach to Cromptom....Baby..The two clubs are a KTU parties......Requiring trendy dress.....as stated in the promo...I never thought of promoting as anything other supporting djs and way to assure my friends could get into the club and not have to pay.....I just can't believe they would even have promoters for these two clubs....I just liked the perks....(free drugs,drinks) not the status

I understand your point......but, I promo a party here once a week...I don't get paid to do it, I don't say it's my party....I do it because my best friend is a dj...He spun in his room for 3 yrs. for hours on end.....he's addicted to house...certain songs will bring tears to eyes.....But he had stage-fright....He finally decided to face his fear and spin out at a club.....I just want him to be sucessful.....Also he has great sound that I know people would love(not just saying that because I'm his friend)(I know shameless promo) I don't want to create any drama...Just thought I would let you know we're not all that bad....

It was in a bowling alley......Supa DJ Dimitri was the big name....Lady Ms. Keir was even there....ah the memories....2 weeks later I was @ LimeLight

Perry Farrell once said....People say those were the days but, for us these are the days.........Clubs are a great if you learn from them and don't just do drugs.........I won't be the person I am today if I never went clubbing......I would be like the kids from my hometown some white hat frat boy who thinks the only way to get a laugh is to make some racial joke.....t not to sound elitist or cocky.....but, trust me clubs can't hold candle when I worked @ Limelight and Tunnel was just reopening...It all just lost it's direction somewhere along the line.......but, the music just keeps getting better.....

I did the same but, back when factory was where twilo was and Limelight was the place to be... i worked for Michael Alig and partied like a rock star.....I was so hooked on every drug@ 16 and thought that was the scene....Then the bottom fell out of my world and the world around me......I started going out clean and just dancing and enjoying the music.....With out the clubkid bullshit....I have more fun now than I ever did....Don't get me wrong I won't trade some of days back then for anything but, you must grow-up someday.........

Come out and show your support if you love John....You'll proably really dig his protege Sean Cormac.....He spins a really soulful house-jazz blend....

If you feel like Danc'in and Pranc'n....Mov'in and Groov'n then come on out....John Creamer was unbelievable and the crowd was vibing last time out....this week should be even better....If you love house music and want to dance....I promise u a good time.....For more info see the promo board "We're doing it again" is the heading... I know the venue is strict and I always promised myself I would never go to a club that I couldn't wear baggy jeans and sneakers(ie..Arc) but, we try to make it our own....
