Thank you! I was just thinking the same thing. I'm so tired of hearing about who likes sf and who hates it. Get over it already. It's getting old. UGH!

  2. Well I just checked the Weather Channel web site and it looks like all of the snow will happen Saturday. On Sunday, it will be mostly cloudy with no signs of snow...at least that's what the picture looks like. I just hope all of the snow starts after Midnight Saturday and ends before Sunday afternoon! That would be wonderful because then I can go to my NYE party and have a good time with all my friends...then shoot over to SoundFactory to bring in the new year with my friends and family!!!

    It's so nice to dream!

  3. I heard last year at Factory was off the hook, but I couldn't make it. I was in the city listening to Billy Joel bring in the new year !

This year I am really considering Factory for my New Years bash! Well, it's getting close to the weekend! I better decide soon!

From the looks of things...I wil most likely be there...weather permitting.

  4. I personally like him. I do feel however, that it is the parents fault for letting their kids buy the cds that may be a bad influence on them. I think all of the explicit cds should be in a separate section in the music stores, similar to the porno tapes that are sold in video stores. That may help the situation a little better. So for all those parents who feel that Eminem is a bad influence on their children, they better take a step back because it all starts at home...where's the discipline? Obviously, the parents are allowing them to listen to his cds. Therefore, it causes them to rebel.

I don't know...maybe I'm not making sense, but I just thought I would add my opinion. Maybe some of you can understand what I'm trying to say...

  5. This past Saturday at SF was amazing! JP was off the hook from the moment I stepped in the place (3 am)! The only gripe I have was the 4th floor...what's up with that? I didn't like the fact that they covered up the stairs and I also didn't like the music that was playing up there. It killed the whole vibe. I hope that doesn't last too long.

I was wondering if anyone will be there this Saturday? Wanna meet up? Let me know...

  6. Ok guys...last Saturday, I was having so much fun that I forgot to meet up with you. Hopefully, this Saturday I will remember. It's funny though because that's exactly where I hang out.

BTW, if anyone sees a girl dancing on a tale nearby...that's me. It's my Factory trademark at the beginning of the night! So if you see me...stop by!! cwm12.gif

Hope to see you guys Saturday!!

  7. I'm torn myself, but the only thing that concerns me is the fact that I cannot do Factory 2 nights in a row. I prefer Satudays at SF rather than Fridays any day. It's just that supposedly there's this new party there and it's should be good. But if it's like any other new parties that come around...they fade sooner or later.

I think I will stick to my Factory Saturdays. It just wouldn't be right if I went any other night.

  8. The 4th floor is very nice. When you're up there you don't feel like you're in Soundfactory.

Ok...here's the layout...when you first walk up the stairs right in front of you is the Cabaret Room...it's a room with 2 small levels of tables and booths. To the right of the stairs is a small dancefloor surrounded by nice chairs and couches.

In the back is the coat check, as well as the bar. To the right of the bar, along the wall, are 3 rooms to rent for parties. In two of the rooms, are nice soft chairs and couches to lounge in. The third room is the room with the jacuzzi and showers. This room is really nice. I don't think you're allowed in the jacuzzi, but it is a nice touch.

Last, but not least, the showers in the jacuzzi room, lead to a beautifully decorated bathroom. The bathroom is unisex, of course...and the main attraction is the white leather chairs/couch in there. The sink counters are nice too.

I have to say that Factory outdid themselves with this new addition. I personally love it up there. It's a place where you can actually have a decent conversation without yelling over the music.

I think you should check it out when you have the chance...you won't be disappointed.

I agree with Enyce...bottom of the 4th floor stairs sounds like a good place. That's usually where I hang out anyway. I haven't met anyone from the board yet, but I would love to Saturday. So what's the normal routine? Do we just go right up to ppl and ask them there Usernames?? LOL!

Well, I'll be there celebrating my friend's birthday...we should arrive around 4. Can't wait to meet some of you!

  10. Everyone has their own opinions...I happen to like Exit Fridays...alot. Sometimes I need a break from the hard house tracks that you hear at Soundfactory or Twilo and I want to listen to commercial house (as some of u call it). It's all in the way the DJs spin the music. It doesn't make them a bad DJ because they play "commercial house", but more diverse. Personally, I like variety when it comes to music.

As for some of you, I wouldn't bash all the DJs at Exit. They're there doing their job just like everyone else. If you don't like the music, don't listen to it and don't waste your money going to Exit.
