what up what up this site really turned to shit T

The pnly reason I go out is for the MUSIC and certain DJ's I want to hear. What is the use of going out EVERY weekend, it gets to be redundant. Parties (raves) are even worse, they hve all the DJ's play for an hour, WTF is that quanity is NOT better than quality. Ihave been to a few parties in BK that friends were throwing, I havent been out in NYC since July. I did travel to Europe for the Amsterdam Music Event and I LOVE Techno, Europe parties are the SHIT. I recommened everyone who likes to party to travel to Europe at least once for a party. I went to this Boo which was a OK time, nothing like how parties use to be like in the mid to late 90's

WoW so much to say here, first off Hype LOVE the train wreck picture. Saved it for future uses. And really does an award voted on by "fans" really mean something? Isntyit a popularity contest? Yes it is great they win but for votes taken off the internet come on. An award like that would be well more respected and mean somethnig if maybe "only other American Dj's " voted for the person. And this is the DUMBEST comment ever written on here. ALOT of DJ's dont deseved to get booked if it was judged on their talent alone. Promoters bring DJ's in, that bring paying customers thru the door. That is why we get the same DJ's OVER and OVER again. NO ONE EVER takes a chance of a no name with better talent than someone else who is more popular. U come on here like u are on JP's dick and have to defend him. Calm the fuck down it is a stupid Msg board.

I would say between 3 and 5 am. That also will be the busiest time to enter the club. If Dt is spiing into the after noon and u want to hear DT I would say go around 6 or 7am.

No offense that sucks, I doubt I would enjoy his set. I have a Cornerstone Mix tape he was on (I think I have a few of them with him on) he is an amzaing DJ but that was hip hop. I dont think I want to hear him cut up Top 40's songs

I worked for Dancesafe at 1 party, it is pretty cool but people are hesitant to pull out their drugs. Dance Safe should get into some of the clubs in NYC. This is the only party I ever want to go to at WMC, the time I went in 2002. I left the morning next morning at 7am. Wasnt worth it for me to go from 12am to 4am when the party really starts in the morning. I wish one year I can catch DT here,I also am interested in hearing him at Stereo in Toronto.

Spinbad, I would go just to see him, but there is no way I can getther by 11pm. I just want to see him spin live, but most likely he is going to be spinning the Z100 isht. If he is there, next week I am going to stop by and check him out.

Freestyle was the shit, came on around 85 blew up from 86 to 89 (my high school guido years) Use to be the only shit in clubs (well teen nights here in NNJ) Did anyone go to the freestyle nite they had at Emerald City in the early 90's? Had like 15 groups performing. Or when they had the Miv Mac concert on the beach in seaside. HI Johnny O and Cynthia singin "Dreamboy Dreamgirl". Around 89 thru 1992-3 hip hop house came out, Twin Hype Two without Hats, Fast Eddie and so on. Around the same time house started to become more popular. With "this is Acid, french Kiss" shit like that. They use to play in freestly and house on Hot 97 before it switched over to hip hop in 1992. I still listen to freestyle once in a while, like someone else said to reminese. Did u ever notice it was always a guy cryin over a girl? Yea and if there are any nights where somone is spinning freestyle and house let me know I have a few people who would definly come out. Then we can have a big sing along
