Well i have this take... Johnny Vicious is an amazing DJ.. one of the best of our generation.... but the question is can he hold his own. I remember last august at the opening of his residency at tunnel there was so much excitement about him being there and that the party would be awesome. The Party was awesome but Unfortunately was the weeks went On, the people stopped Coming. I think this Party will be Different... But it ALL depends on how johnny vicious Rips it up this fri. Steven Zor was Definitely good last summer and thru the early Fall opening up for Johnny Vicious At tunnel............ he was the first Dj in nyc to play "Go" by Russenmafia.. one of the Top Songs of the summer last year...... Yes i was there almost every weekend at tunnel when Johnny vicious was there. August 19,2000 was the first night of his residency... the place was pacccccked... the music was amazing.. i will never Forget the speech he gave (He said these are OUR SaTurdays at TUNNEL, I hope to be here for a long time), I will never forget that played Thunder in paradise, which at the time was an AMAZING SONG!!!! Then as the weeks went by the crowd started to dwindle until he finally decided to leave on Decemeber 7(his birthday party). Johnny Vicious At tunnel was Uncomparable... he was Amazing.. Dropped all the new tracks and he always drop hard hits. Johnny vicious at tunnel was a perfect match, unfortunately management didtn want to pay Him.. and he had to leave. For any of u who Doubt his Talents at tunnel just Listen to the Sanctuary of last september where it was live from tunnel. This is probably hands down the best sanctuary of all TIME.!!!! Johnny vicious is one the best Dj's right now and has been for years. This is reason i want to him to have a residency. So it can be like last year When u can go every weekend and hear the best dj on the planet rip up the turntables. Peace Jonathan
