Coming into town for the week- Aside from Fri-Sat, where to go for a good scene during the week?

What's happened to all the good underground clubs where good music is played but for a smaller and more intimate setting without all the B&T, tourist crowd etc?

Anyone know of any underground clubs these days besides the big ones? Used to be clubs like Robots that were great to go to.
