  1. Hey folks,

I'm curious what's going on this weekend (particularly on Wed and Sat nites).

I lived in NY/NJ for 7 years before moving to Miami to run ClubPlanet.com's site. But now I'm coming back for a couple days of R&R.

Suggestions? Bars, lounges, and VIP style clubs?

Before I left, I frequented Life, Cheetah, NV and Twilo. but I know shit's changed.

Please let me know here or at jeremy@clubplanet.com.

    Peace,

    Jeremy

  2. In the days where many have complained about SPace, Memorial Day activities, and how we're sick of how cool things used to be, RUMI is here.

If you're like me, and you went to Bash, Shadow Lounge and Bar Room when they were fresh and new, you're in luck. Alan Roth and Sean Salidino have taken their PR genius from Global Venture Partners and twisted it into the fun new hot spot on South Beach.

Beware though... the door is as tough as any on the beach has ever been. Make reservations, friends and leave extra friends behind, as once you get inside, you will meet more!

Prices are competitive (Opium, Pearl-like) and the layout of the place is cool even through to the coed bathroom upstairs. I suggest you try washing your hands after you leave the bathroom, under the mirror, so you don't have to see anyone else. :)

Table reservations are the best way to ensure your entry.

    See ya there!

  3. We're doing a test run on the Miami <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank">Guestlists</A> this weekend.

Log on to http://miami.clubplanet.com/ <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank">guestlists</A> to get on <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank">guestlists</A> this weekend (if you plan on being there).

Also, please tell me how they work, as this is a test.

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

  4. Frankie,

We know who you are. We know where you live. We know what you ate for dinner last night. And we know what you did last summer.

    How's that for drama?

  5. What are some opinions on BT's latest release?

I personally thing it shows he's got tremendous talent as a music writer and producer, and can't wait till he works with other great artists, for more releases.

  6. You should email Clubmaster@clubplanet.com about the idea to throw a party where you all can meet.

That way, it can be organized, and at a venue where there's no or very little cover, drink specials.

We're planning some in Miami, but I don't know about NYC. Someone step up.

    Peace between in BBS,

    Jeremy

  7. What's up with this huge Miami vs. New York thing? Can't we all just get along? Isn't the whole nightlice scene about the music, the people, and the good times? Why do we have to argue about which city is better? I believe the best city is where you go to be happiest. If you go to your house and listen to music, and you're happy, that's the best club. There's no reason to fight about who's better? I've been in Miami and New York for long enough to know that home is where you hang your hat. And if you're smart enough to except that there's other places to explore besides your own backyard, you'll enjoy everyone's backyards too.

Stop arguing and start giving little known DJ's some respect for their hard work.

And stop doing so many drugs...it ruins your senses in the long run.

    Peace.

  8. Next winter, take a trip down to Miami for Winter Music Festival. The atmosphere for partying among all the industry people, mixed with all the wonderful clubs they have in South Beach (and now the downtown Miami area- Space)will surprise you. It may only be seasonal, but Miami has a great club scene, and clubs like Level, Space and Crobar can make New York clubs look very commercial. There's also a bunch of gerat new lounges springing up, in the spirit of New York, but the atmosphere is so much more friendly.

    Thanks for the time.
