  1. Anyone know what the deal is with buying tickets for these events... also if one plans to attend in the wee hours of the morning, like after 4 should I bother buying tickets or will I be able to pay off a bouncer to let me in? I haven't been to Vegas in a few years but that last time I was there money talked and bullsh*t walked...

But they are off the strip if you don't mind that and there casino area is smaller than the other mega hotels on the strip. Mandalay Bay is suppost to be real nice too, though I've never been.

Mandalay is really nice...rooms are nice and so is the casino... the hard rock is just rowdy as all hell....as far as off the strip cabs are cheap and they are everywhere and take you everywhere...it's worth staying there for the partying that goes on...

They probably do this so you have to spend your money at their bars and not go out to the liquor stores to buy stuff at half the price they are selling it for. That's the only reason I can think of, especially that you can order room service and get a bottle of wine that way.

Alright i stay at the hard rock everytime i'm out there, you can get liquor into the rooms...use a duffel bag there's a liquor store right across the street to get the liqour at a reasonable price....as pompous as the staff is some of the guys who aren't busy being pricks can actually be cool and help you out, u never know...in my opinion there is nowhere else to stay but the hard rock memorial day weekend, that place is jumping 24/7 that whole weekend, the beach-ooopppsss i mean pool is sick and you can call your friends and have them go to hardrockhotel.com and look at the pool cams and have them watch YOUR pompous ass sit there and drink inthe 100 degree weather....I won't be making it this year for memorial day but i will be back in october for the Mr. Olympia competition, also an awesome time...also if you like to gamble get rated and ask for a suite if you win or lose enough money they'll give it to you....i was in the 5th floor suite last year, FUCKEN PIMP ROOM, we had 3 balconies oerlooking the pool....nothing beats it...say hello to the hard rock for me tell her i'll see her next year at that time....

The first day I got my equipment I was a better DJ then him. Anyone with 2 hands and hearing is a better DJ then him. Relax yourself. Breathe in, breathe out. It was a joke.

Thankx for your vote of humor....board police, everyone on here posts their "opinions" i post mine and am automatically labeled as board police...so as far as being relaxed the only way i could be more relaxed is with about 10.5 million...other than that you couldn't make me give a fuck

This is a good question, but one that can't be answered. It's all taste. As most people on this thread are putting Trance DJ's and I personally wouldn't put a single one of them on my list as I hate trance. So Tiesto, Van Burien, Van Dyk, etc wouldn't even get my vote. And there are soooo many choices out there the best DJ in the world is an unknown.

let's get one thing straight, louie devito is not a dj, my little sister on Mixmeister of all programs can create a better cd than he can any day....

I think this is probably the best compiled list, and by the way Tiesto should get bumped up a few, I seen him in Vegas this past memorial day....SICK SICK SICK SICK ENERGY, his opening DJ had more energy than most of the people in there, crazy nite, can't wait till upcoming memorial weekend to do it again

As for forcing "this" party to go down the tubes, it's going to be a different party.....

Gay clubs have notoriously been about the music and trendsetting.

Either you will like the flavor of music or you won't nothing else should matter.

I'm sure you'll be curious enough to see what kind of change it will be, and venture in there atleast once.

If JP's ego didn't get the best of him, what was so bad about switching to Friday nights. Has our head swelled up that much in a few years? He was more than happy to take over Friday and Saturday, when no one really knew him.

Richard Grant created another ego maniac. I'm sure he's used to it.

I don't see DT complaining about doing a Friday, it's all about sharing your love for the music.........not how big your ego has gotten.

He should have been honored to play in the same venue as one of his role models, Junior Vasquez, who he himself used to go to after his night was over at SF. But, nooooooooooo ego, ego, ego.....it can only hurt you.

He should have said "I'd be honored to work the same venue as Junior and colaborate on bringing back the scene".....but, he didn't, to bad..............he is gonna lose out.

i'm curious as well, i'm just not as enthusiastic about the crowd that's all, i went to exit a few times while jr was was there......and this is the feeling after an hour :blown: ...no matter how good the music is if the crowd sucks the place sucks, this is just my experience

couldn't of said it better myself

    :banghead:

  11. i was never a hard core factory frequenter, but after 4 am in the winter time there is no better place to go than the factory, and most of the times i would go there drunk and dance my silly little ass off till 9 or 10, drugs don't necessarily mean shit, for some people they need it others don't, jp was a great dj who represented a good vibe of people every sat/sun for 7 years had i know sooner that it was his last nite i def woulda attended many memories in that house....as for junior the gay crowd is a very big turn off, cuz most of them are assholes just like him and don't like u unless your gay, they don't understand that there are other people who like to go out and listen to music and just have a good time....i don't care if they are around me why should they care if i'm around them, leave me the fuck alone and i'll do the same

  12. bro i was unemployed for 9 months, and now finally i got a job and i start i monday, all i can say is hang in there....just to let u know the reason i got my job is i turned to politics and worked on a recent election and that's how i met massive contacts to help me get the job i have now....the money sucks, but your not there for money your there to meet and greet, and who knows where it'll take you, good luck
