  1. i'll add my 2 cents....

they have THE MOST reeediculous sound system ive ever heard in a ny club. even better than arc/vinyl's system.

the crowd was dissapointing though. seemed like too many preppies, not enough real clubbers. hopefully it will pick up when they bring bigger dj's.

i was shocked that they didnt frisk u when going into the place.

and lastly...attention women!!!!; its december, its 20 degrees outside....why on earth were so many women wearing open-toed shoes....and complaining how cold it was?!??!?!

  2. check out the skylofts at mgm. im staying out there in a few weeks and they are the perfect size to throw a party. one bedrooms go from 800 - 1500 per night (depending on the day of the week)...though they might be a little small if you want a BIG party. two bedrooms are more appropriate for a party and go from 1500 - 3000 per night. the 3 bedroom suites are ridiculously expensive and think you can find better for the price out in LV.

book early cause theres not many of them.

    have fun.

  3. im there till tuesday.

mandalay has a nice sportsbook, bellagio does too. and they both have bars in them so u can sit and and watch the games if u like. and the island bar at mandalay also sets up big screens for the games too. one thing i didnt like was they take no action on formula one races...they actually looked at me funny when i asked them about it last year...they didnt have a clue what F1 was...go figure. im not even gonna get my hopes up about betting on that or the english league soccer matches this year. i have found a english pub near the strip that shows the soccer games live (at around 4am...eeek!)...so depending on how mangled i am, i might end up there on the weekend

  4. agreed. its a nice place to have dinner. or maybe a nice drink before going out...they do have an awesome collection of expensive liquors from around the world (pyrat rum..highly recommended), but the scene after dinner is not much to write home about.

  5. be sure to post a review of oba...couldnt agree with u more. i remember about 3 or 4 years ago, my first time at drais...i was so hyped up since i heard it was 'the' spot in vegas. after me and my buddy got in, we looked at each other and said...'this is it'?!?!??! it looks like someones basement, no dancefloor, no lights, weak soudsystem, lots of poseurs looking at each other. yeah, the girls were ok, but not what we were expecting. overall a dissapointment.
