  1. i think it's time to slow it down a bit, and try to put one cognitive thought together... period. everything will be ok, just relax... ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  2. acid absolutely does not eat away at your spine in any manner, unless we're talking about battery acid. do your own research people, asking a question like this on a message board as such is irresponsible. while there may be one or two experts on this subject who post on this board, there are 500 whom are not experts. there is tons of information available online to begin with about drugs of all types. a good spot to gain a decent in depth description of just about anything, try www.erowid.com happy trails stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  3. paulaner salvator is the nectar of the gods, bottled is excellent, on tap it is heaven. it's a dopplebock tho, it's heavy and it's strong and it aint cheap. my vote for best in the world. as far as ales are concerned england takes the cake, newcastle brown ale is tops, with sam smith's nut brown a close second. rob do you mean Grolsch?... also excellent, the best dutch beer by far. gotta love the authentic pop top. so many to choose from, had the pleasure of turning 21 in a bar with 100 choices from around the world, got an excellent education of what's good, and whats not so good. as far as domestic beer is concerned, can't beat Rolling Rock..... be cool stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  4. many of the above listed are among my favorites, but by far my favorite is Langston Hughes. if you're not familiar with him, become so. be cool stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  5. you can always see for yourself by going to his websites. go to www.m-nus.com , see for yourself how much music he makes available for free, of his own production, in either mp3 or real audio. i'll have to take your word for the digitalnoise thang, but it doesnt sound much like him from my understanding. there are many live sets available on napster of his, as many as, and more than a lot of other big timers. btw, that project with pete namlook is out of this world. be cool ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  6. perfect street corner to open a brothel..... very nice ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  7. you asked me if i was going to howells, simple as that. list please ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  8. i will def be in attendance, Diego, the master of subliminal messages, implanted a thought in my brain, and since i missed DH last time, this is a must. be cool ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  9. i have two english springer spaniels, one black and white, one liver and white, of whom im very fond. had many dogs over the years, mostly springers, with a yellow lab who was wonderful, and a norwegian elkhound who was the baddest. in the future i aspire to find a wirehaired pointing griffon to be my friend, as well as a miniature pinscher if the big dog little dog scheme works out. be cool ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  10. jealousy is a terrible thing Dave, im truly heartbroken that once again, you will not be hearing him inside the hallowed walls of Twilo. muuahahahahaha.... seriously though, why not open your rusty wallet and fly out for a weekend, im sure someone will put you up..... be cool stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  11. there was a time when i used to write extensively, but it has gone by the wayside as of late. most of what i have written has been for my own sanity. i've found the best of what i have written has been at the times i've felt the lowest. it comes to me in cycles, and when im not putting the pen to the paper, im reading at huge capacities. im not adverse to sharing, as i have done so in the past. although very personal to me, what writting isn't personal to someone? stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  12. spoony- you make many solid points in this thread. i've seen Wink three times in the past few years, once in philly, once in boston, and most recently at twilo a while back. he is not a dj who will take you on that journey, thats for sure... but it is cool to see what music he is digging at any specific time. he's an individual, and an innovator and although i won't go see him this friday, i would recommend hearing what he has to put out. just don't go to boston to see him, the sour taste in your mouth when it's all over will come close to ruining the experience. lol be cool, stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  13. Mac- master of wit and sarcasm, numerous individuals around the tristate area, and various pieces of information concerning DT.... i would have given you more credit to start with, and figured that you, like misskittie would have found the humour in the statement. indeed it was ludricous, and i have thought about it. be cool, stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  14. i heard from a reliable source, (Carl's Orthodontist), that this event, if it happens at all, will be a 25 years and up party. it just isnt fair. ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  15. D- tell me if you sorted that email issue out or not, because i will send it again if you didnt get it. be cool ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  16. im in the fucking office.... wait a second, my office is at home... lol i will actually have a busy day if you can stand that. enjoy y'all ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  17. cocaine is the devil... some people can dance with her, some cannot. keep your nose clean. stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  18. p00h is on point, and im nearly sick of having to agree with him. lol nycmuzik used a perfect analogy, "a mutated version of happy hardcore"... and essentially thats what it sounds like to me. i for one am not a bpm junkie, and the hardcore scene isn't for me. as far as you're concerned B2B, we may be getting old, but i will still take a hard thumping from one of the techno gods any night, and smile the whole way through. be cool y'all ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  19. agreed, but wouldnt you call this a post about it? ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...

  23. i've been twice to istanbul, and i love that city. my wife to be is from istanbul/izmir, and the best and only way to know such a place is to have a 'tour guide' whom is a native turk. what i mean is, the language barrier is extreme, and i doubt, in my experience, that without someone to speak for you/show you around, you could never get a real feel for the place. there is an underground scene there, that an average tourist could never become involved with. outside of clubbing in general, the food is exquisite, and if led in the right direction, epicurean delight is inevitable. the culture is old and beautiful including the people. all is not peaches and cream there tho, and without the proper assistance, istanbul can be a very dangerous place for an outsider. as far as Bodrum is concerned, 'the turkish riviera', although i have not been, it is explained to me as an incredible experience. the only summer community i have knowledge of is in Cesme, which lies 70km west of Izmir, on the coast of the Agean. an inspiring location, with clubs/lounges on the water. unfortunately i don't have the time to even scratch the surface of my time spent there. once question, anyone been to the 'Secret Garden', in the Taxim section of Istanbul? the greatest lounge on earth! be cool, stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  24. just got the cd for the october mix, thanks again, sounds smooth. (haven't listened to the whole thing yet, in the process)... will report back later. be cool stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
  25. my sentiments exactly! ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
