  4. Sorry guys... yea calm down you're gonna blow a hemorrhoid. you think we actually knew that roxy was going to be shut down? that's like predicting when Bobby Goodrich is gonna shave his mustache We didn't know this was going to happen. If we did we wouldn't have promoted it and Bobby and the 200 promoters wouldn't have wasted money and three weeks of heavy promotion.... Everyone including the Roxy lost out on this party. It was not a fun week so for the people that did show up that didn't know about the closing... We couldn't leave you out in the cold. So luckily there was a place to go... a good sound system, lights and liqueur and you can dance and not stand around chairs... It was nice of the owners of webster hall to open up its doors to a party that had no home on such a short notice ... I have a lot of respect for shawn, chief, kenny of webster hall. They have been around for a long time and run a tight ship.... And a special thanks to riddler for letting me share his tables. I djed @ roxy since 89.. I hope that Gene pulls out of this, he is one of the people that helped me build my career and gave us the chance to make sexy as big as it was. Roxy has been a big part of NYC night life and has NYC biggest dance floor.. I hope that we can dance there again soon. see you on thanksgiving eve Johnny Vicious
  5. hey everyone, we didnt want to switch , but the police and fire department had an inspection and the room downstairs was a max capacity, if they didnt move the party upstairs there would have been rediculous fines to the club and it would have gotten shut down, so to avoid this and being a team player that i am i sucked it up, didnt complain and let the club do what they had to do without any conflicts. i think everyone involved in the party that night had a great time until this happened, but also realized that this was something that is only going to happen once in a blue moon.and everyone was ok with it after i explained the situation. i feel that having hip hop in one room and house in another is a good idea, it exposes people who love hip hop to house and house heads to hip hop. either way both is here to stay, so suck it up!! next week is my b day, and i expect it to be a smooth night with no problems and a great vibe. we are doing this every week and we are also looking for promoters that support the house sceene. we have some great people involved in the party and they are working with me to build a night that will be around for a long time. if u are interested email me @ muzik448@aol.com thanks johnny vicious
  6. oops i just noticed that i signed in under my girls name when i posted because im using her computer. lol lisa will be at the door " drums"is your password if you didnt get on the cp list. see ya tonight vicious
  7. This is developing into a great weekly party. I had a great time playing to all of you who were there once again, thanks for coming out. Frank pellegrino, ohzee & the butcha did a great job on the main floor before I went on. thanks guys Every sat we are doing this party. Warehouse starts strictly @ 4am. there is definitely a great hip hop party going on before my party and you are all welcome to check it out, but the warehouse list for clubplanet and every other list starts at 4am. if there is a list for clubplanet for the earlier party then I guess they close it at 1am my lists are open from 4 till we close down the doors...... just FYI. thanks Johnny vicious
  8. Hey Either go through club planet or E-mail me @ muzik448@aol.com. the membership cards will be given out on the "warehouse members night". Which is going to be in the next few weeks. We will announce it soon. works like this The first 500 people on guest list for "the warehouse members night"will get the cards. Your cards are compliments of your promoter. You can just show the card at the door and you don't have to worry if you are out, you feel like coming to the club and not on the list. the rest are going to be given to friends of the promoters involved in the party. this entitles the holder to 10 admission on regular nights. special events will be 50% off. We will also have special members night that can start early with drinks and food. Members can only come with 1 friend. These night will have guest DJ's 1000 cards in total. all $10 for the life of "warehouse" parties. thanks VISH
  9. AWESOME im all pumped up. Thanks for the support, I just want you guys to know that this night means a lot to me this is what I have worked for all the years of djing and being able to play at an after-hours in NYC and gaining the respect of the clubbers and music industry, and I hope I meet up to all of your expectations. we did it before at tunnel, roxy and factory with A-luv and Bobby G. Now it's time for "warehouse" times have changed so has the Muzik, I have dj'd all around the World Italy,France,Japan Phillipinnes,Germany Amsterdam,Austraillia,Estonia, Sweeden, England,Portugal,Switzerland,i might as well just say europe almost every state in the usa. even Little rock Ark. and Utah!!!! (Wierd but they party just as hard). this is a small list of special moments and times that i have encounterd that mean a lot to me,and brief history for those of you who dont know me. the days i used to go to see Tony humphries at zanzabar, tee Scott and bobby connors in jersey at cheetah which had the original studio 54 sound system...wow what a room, Louie vega at 54, roseland and sound factory bar, frankie knuckles at roxy and sound factory bar, David morales at the world, red zone, and in times square at u.s.a. I remember vividly the day I played with Larry Levan at palladium during a hot 97 live broadcast I will cherish that memory forever... A long time idol of mine Jellybean calling me personally and asking me to mix a record for him. i was floored. that record turned out to be "release me" and "someone to hold" both veronica records. Jr. Vasquez playing my songs for the first time at the original sound factory. this is the room that started my production career, this is a special space for me because THIS IS where we are all gonna SWEAT our asses off on sat. Jonathan and Danny Teneglia playing and turning out for years and more years to come with new sounds. Learning, advancing paving the way for the use of effects in clubs.which stepped it up for all of us. carl cox , his energy,HOLY SHIT!!!! i think he plugs himself into the 220 v. socket and goes off. i think of him and i just sweat and get all pumped up. one of the best guys in the biz. sasha ,playing the trance record that started it all for me. "reflect"- orange and blue label for the trainspotters!!! i was a trainspotter the night he dropped that record in twilo, ran right up to the booth and memorized the label!! As I look back I have learned from each and every one of these talented and special friends. So many more people taught me and showed me the ropes. and they dont even know it. my friends who are my family. these are the people who i have had soooo many good times with and made that last 7 years funnnnn and they turned out the muzik that made us dance .They taught me that this isnt just a business its about helping one another, refering one another and helping one another in bad times and good. we are about to do it all over again with new producers, and djs. what a bunch of clowns we are Jason Ojeda the # 1 clown(airplane trips to cancun), Richie Santana, dj Escape,Guido, Razor,Denny T.(he beat me in a dj competition in like 87' hahaha i forgot what he won. but congrats again lol - he hates that i tell everyone!!!!),Skribble,Hex(welcome back to ny, im gonna make belive you never left.),Mike Nigro,dj kirk lopez (he taught me how to dj, just for the record)Johnny Martin (he taught me too kirk!!!) we are all from NYC We have all rocked the shit out of NY and we are about to do it all over again with new producers, and djs.!!!! And johnny......." who the hell is palumbo?" I have known Freddie from the very first party i ever did ...a teen night @ Tsunami in Long branch n.j for a year of two.He is a great dj.He knows, loves and is very passionate about his music. This is who i am currently doing some of my productions with."THE BEAST" is one of the many releases to come. This is the reason I got into djing and im sure that there will be many more DJ's that will get the honor or having to play to a great NYC after-hours crowd ... this is what it is all about!!!!! lets get dark-dirty and have a great fuckin time. a special thanks goes out to all the promoters,Denniz,Breeze,DIM, djs Frank p. and ozhee and da butcha, and all the others. too many to list but i will as soon as i get all of thiier lists!!!! They are putting hard work, time and energy into this and i realize it. Thanks to the people that just wanted to promote because they love the nightlife and want it to continue. They weren't looking at the $$$$, but looking to the future as an investment in themselves the industry and the NYC nightlife, they are the future of the NYC nightlife believing and realizing we can make this a great long lasting party. thanks everyone Im gonna rock it every week!!!! VISH Oh yea fuck binladen:peeleft: that asshole:moon:he thinks he is gonna ruin our lives.
  10. stop by if you can, you might like it. thanks for the positive post!! johnny vicious
  11. yes spirit is going to turn into warehouse at 4:00AM It is just a space with a sound system in a building that can have a party called whatever you want it to be called. So I called it "warehouse" i have always loved that name, it is dark, dirty and it fits the mood of my party. warehouse is going to have membership cards and although we are going to let the general public in to see what the hype is about in the after-hours world, you are going to be a member of a 1000 person family (we are going to keep the card exclusive to 1000 people) we will have membership card nights where you can sponsor a friend and then it can grow.the membership entitles you to be grandfathered in at the price of the first night Say gas was. $05 a gallon in 1934 and its 2005, you will still be paying. $05 with your membership cards, we will also have T-shirts and special trips and promotions to other warehouse parties all over the world when I have them. But in the next few weeks we are going to be giving out these cards to the first 1000 people and if you are there on sat we will put your name on a list and hold a card for you. So if the party needs to be moved to another space I can keep my name and logo. And the list of the cardholders comes with me and the promoters that are involved with the party. And you will be able to use the cards wherever the party moves to. It was a little hard to open my own club, haha......... So look at it look at it from that perspective I was sick of switching on and off every few weeks, not having a set schedule. So the only way I was going to get something done in this city is to take the idea of the party just like the roxy party, get a group of promoters together like a luv and bobby did, and just turn it into a monster. Now this is going to be a different kind of monster and I needed a space that could handle the sound as well as the vibe. It has been proven in the past to be one of the worlds greatest after-hours. with jr. vasquez, frankie knuckles and Danny t those guys are my teachers, mentors and thankfully my friends. and in the "spirit" of the after-hours it should continue and i have always wanted to have my own to present new tracks and have it be mainly about the music. the promoters denniz, breeze, dim and the many others that are involved with this party along with frank p. ohzee and the butcha (the DJ's that will be taking the party into another vibe in the "loft") they are the driving force that will make this party a success and have put their names on the line to have this party come together. I am not competing to have an after-hours spot with anyone, I just want to have a great party with a great vibe. And I its like an addiction for me, I need to play, I cant just work in my studio make music and get music from people every week and not be able to share it. So come by and dance and have a great time with your new family!!!!!! Johnny vicious
  12. To all of you crazy bastards that I used to play to and the new ones that I am going to play for!!!!! I am starting a new after-hours party called "warehouse" (the name of the space where it is at did not change),obviously something in the scene is missing in NYC right now and that a large after-hours venue with consistency. This has nothing to do with any other club from Miami and or Chicago, its just a name of the party. Its going feature and represent of all of the new music that NYC has to offer to the rest of the world and showcase some of the worlds music that I aquire to you. There are many new clubbers in NYC that have never had the experience many of you have had in the past with after-hours. FIRST: the feeling of the family Second:Consisancy And of course : YOU and your individuality participating and making the party what it becomes. i felt that there should be consitency with muzik weekly and to grow and form a family again, just as there have been in the past. I am not in this to get famous or make money. as a matter of fact i waived all upfront money to make this party happen. And the club has agreed to keep the door charges at a minimum. promoters/hosts that are participating in the afterhours have joined it just on the basis that it has potential to be a great vibe and the realize that it is time to bring people together so that they can look foward to seeing each other everyweek. as long as i have been in this music game i can see trends. this is the beginning of a new era,new music and new people. so get involved!!! spread the word, this is your club just as much as it is mine.the more friends you have there the better the party will be. we will have membership card giveaway very soon which entitle the bearer of the card to get in a discounted rate during ANY party "warehouse" has. Lets bring sat night back.. love you all and i miss all of you even the haters cause without them there would be no drama. Johnny vicious VISH RECORDS
  13. Well i see that there is a few people on this board that are a little angry !! wow that's the first time i was ever threatened... "to die"... for playing music. so my friend "DJ quick 83". you have an open invitation to spirit tomorrow (Friday Aug 19th) to spin a half hour during my ministry set. and we will see if you can hold it down. (p.s. i never played castles in the sky). i rarely ever give attention to people who are negative, but it sounds like you are looking for attention and need a little help to get wherever it is you want to go in this business so instead of bashing you back i will try to help u out.and will ask the director of spirit to join me in the booth while you spin. so you can not only show your talent but maybe get a gig. The night at cielo was booked through Ultra records, I loved the room, the system was awesome and met the owners of cielo that night for the first time. One of the owners even train for Muai Thai at the same gym I do in the city and in the past three years ive never met him.So that kills any rumors of a connection to cielo at all. no i didn't play hard trance,Roxy, tunnel, factory and exit were places that i played hard and loved every minute of it, music has changed venues have opened and closed, but i still evolve with the music i have been playing since 86 and i think that i have adapted, changed with the styles of music that touched me, and produced my own style that set a trend here in NY and spread to the rest of the world.. I have an extensive house library that is up to date, and goes back to 87. if you have followed my live sets and my ktu sanctuary sets at all, i sound nothing like a "cheese grater" Times have changed and if you haven't followed me since roxy how would u know what I play so before you judge make sure you know what you are talking about. I haven't stopped producing tracks at all. I am releasing "the beast" in September. This track has had the support of David Morales, Angel Moraes,Leecabrera and a lot of overseas house jocks and NYC jocks that I sent it to. I have been told it was one of the summers biggest records. And I appreciate the support of every DJ that has played it. I also had an awesome time at discotheque and from what I saw the people that were there had a great time, we closed early mainly because we went up against crowbar and Danny. Danny is an amazing DJ and producer. Im happy that he was so successful. One day when there is nothing going on except a" little party that goes a little later on a sat night" ... than everyone else does..... I hope everyone will stop by to see me. Im sure the haters will have a change of mind. djquick83 don't forget your headphones. I don't share. I also need a rep from club planet to confirm that djquick83 is djquick83 and not a friend that can actually play records. Maybe Dee u can do this if your not too busy. Also thanks to all of you who support me and still have my back!!! thanks Johnny V "VISH"
  14. I just want to let everyone know that i was ready to play @ therapy!!!!! i cant believe that they said i was a no-show... jimmy contacted my manager for me to play @ therapy. My manager had a few conversations with him, but in the end he and the club never came through with either a depostit,a signed contract, and never retuned phone calls or e-mails regarding the date two weeks prior to the event....NO PHONE CALLS!!!! NO FAXES!!!!! NO E-MAILS!!!!! Even if the date was still going to happen there was no phone call the day of from anyone from the club to confirm that i had transportation to the club which the club usually sets up. I have played there before and they were a lot more professional in the past. so i just wanted to let you know that it was false advertisement and you should all ask for your money back if you were expecting to see me there on that date!!!! It is unfair to me to hold a date, and for you the clubbers to be expecting a dj or talent when the promoters and people at the club know that you are paying money to enter and blame it on the talent as a no show. I love to dj and I love to play music, I have never been a no show to any club in my life except once when there was a hurricane and i couldn't fly.... I have traveled around the world to make my DJ sets happen and I haven't missed one of them I feel that Providence, RI is just as important any other gig in the world. I have had a great time up there in the past and I wouldn't have missed it. Please pass this on to any of your friends that have gone or anyone that you see out that went to this event. i am not happy the way this went down but there are greedy people that are out there that will try to make an extra $$$ by misleading you and this is one example. please check for my upcoming dates on johnnyvicious.com. these dates are official. sorry about the spelling.. im just really pissed that i was looked at as a no-show... thats bullshit!!!!!!! thanks and have a happy holiday love ya all vish!!! my e-mail is :muzik448@aol.com
