Tony Draper is nothing compared to Digweed. Digweed spins the best in Progressive House, while Draper spins the best in Hard Noise. Digweed is the #3 DJ in the world. Tony Draper wasn't even on the top 100. Digweed has 3 Global Underground Albums, a radio show, his own monthly party, a residency at the best club in the world that's been 4 been going 4 years strong. Stop spreading rumors. Yes Sasha will not be there. He wasn't there for the past 2 months. But that doesn't stop Digweed from doing the best 7 hours sets you will hear. Also Jimmy Van M will be back to blow the roof off with mr. Diggers. Don't even make a comparison with Tony Draper and John Digweed, Digweed is internationally known, and Drapers' pure DJing skills are NOTHING compared to Digweed. well that's my 2 cents.

I agree with bad boy bill. PVD is so overrated. Almost as overated os Oakencheese. What DJ skills does he have? He does 3 second mixes... what skill does that take? And in terms of track selection. Okay last friday we might have heard some different shit, but it sounded all the same.. all cheesy music. Who says PVD spins trance. What is so trancey about the music he spins? And you were talking before about track selection? Yeah anyone can be a good DJ by looking at what's hot and what's not, and just bring spin those tracks... WOW BIG SKILL THERE. Because of his overated popularity, PVD can throw any track on, and the crowd would errupt cheering, not cause it's a good song, but because PVD played it... PVD is an overated pretty boy DJ, who gets all the hype because of his name. Paul van Dyke, it is pretty catchy. All you people who rave PVD this, and PVD that.. you probaly have no clue about this music scene whatsover. He is a good producer, and that's what he should stick too... Hello, Well, I think you all are gay. I have seen TILT rave, as I know a member from them. They are good, probaly the best I've seen. Why all this shit talking? What is wrong with you people. You have blueangel popping shit saying how TILT is the best around, and that her boys will own you... and then later on in this thread, she says changes her mood, saying raving should be fun, and no hate involved. Diggers not as good as Sasha? Personally I favor Sasha better, as I like his style when he spins at Twilo.. more trancey. But Digweed is just as good, if not a Better DJ. Just cause the Digweed comes after Sasha, in the Sasha & Digweed, he doesn't get the respect that he deserves. If you really knew about them 2, then you would know that they both can blow the roof off.. and IMHO Digweed has played better than Sasha has in the recent months..

I've had arguments with many friends on this subject, and this is my opinion. PVD - He is an overrated DJ. His DJing skills are nowhere near as good as Sasha and Digweed in terms of programming, track selection, and mixing. He knows how to get a crowd going tho, but that is because from the start, he will play fast beat cheesy trance. And he plays the same cheesy shit all the time. To me it's just the name. PVD this, PVD that. He is very overrated. He's a better producer, and thats' where he should stay, in the studios. I don't think most of the shit produces sounds like trance, it's more technoey. Sasha and Digweed on the otherhand. They are the 2 best DJ's in the world. They also know how to get the crowd going, and knows what the crowd wants. Their DJing skills are flawless, and they will mix up the track selection unlike PVD. And they have the progressive sets, which I personally like better... building the set up. And I like their style better. Dark, Deep, house/trance. But, if you and you're friend want to shake their ass. Both nights are good. Even tho I think PVD is a cheesy DJ, when he spins.. you can feel the vibe... but then S&D spin.. you feel the vibe more...

Hmm.. I did not see your reply as a question, and I thought you were just another one of those people making a dumb comment, but I guess not. Deep house? I wouldn't know how to define it... Steve Lawler, or John Digweed style? Deep, Dark, Tribal house... I guess when they describe a genre as "deep" you can say you really get into it, or it really gets into you... I think an example of deep trance would be Track #8 on Expeditions CD2. Humate - Love Stimulation.

Well this is not an expert reply, but this is what I believe. House music is what you would hear Danny Tenaglia spin... simple dance music that doesn't sound cheesy. I really dunno how to desribe house...it will use those weird sounds.. like.."BOOONG", and those electric elastic band sounds.. like in the track "My Lexicon" By Sander Kleinenberg... crazy sounds in that song. Hard house, is what you hear at exit. House music with a Hard beat.. it's relatively easier to dance too. But to me it's gay. Trance is music that has the sounds that hypnotize you.. take you away... put you in the "trance"... one of my favorite trance songs is Pistolwhip by Joshua Ryan (James Holden Remix)... it's sooo good. You will hear Sasha spin that track a lot. It's in his birthday set, and I've heard it at Twilo the past few times he was there. Progressive "anything".. is exactly what it means... the song starts off with maybe your beat, and a symbol clashing.. then as it progressives you hear more and more sounds added to the song, until it reaches it's climax... perfect example of this is Xpander, by Sasha.. Techno.. hmm.. I don't know. It uses "technoey, robotic, futuristic sounds" HAHAH I don't think that's a good description. Breakbeat, has a different beat than other songs. Listen to Space Manouveres by Stage One, Rabbitweed by Sasha, The Fibocanni Sequence (is that how u spell it?) by BT, and I even think Belfunk sounds breakbeat almost. Tribal... to me is house music that uses drumbeats that you would hear african tribes play. Well that is what I think each genre of music represents. Any corrections or additions? -Steve

They both have their different styles. When I hear them spin at Twilo... I usually hear Diggers start off with the deep, dark house... and then even when you are up in the VIP room, you can hear when Sasha comes on when you start to hear the deep trance. Then later on in the night is when they rip shit up. Personally I like Sasha better, as he knows what the crowd wants, he is the BEST mixer alive, he knows how to progress a set. Then seeing Sasha & Diggers work off of eachother is even better.. ahhh The 2 best DJ's... under one roof, in the best club in the world.. what more can you ask for? -Steve
