I was listening to KTU all night..started just before 12am and definitely KTU was banging...really great trance music. If that was J. Vicious---great music. ------------------ let the music play....

Why would anyone quit the Tunnel???? the place is like a shrine of nyc nightlife, it's a legend sometimes i go there just to experience the place, Am I wrong???? ------------------ let the music play....

Should seriously upgrade their soundsystem 'cause their soundsystem SUCKS!!! Once I ran into their regular dj there at 8Ball and told him about it,,he told me he would speak with the soundman but nothing ever happened. Their soundsystem is weak and amateurish at best ------------------ let the music play....

so, did anyone???? the mezz at tunnel is probably bigger than that place it was a mini club but well-known in london, i loved the little place somebody here must know about it ------------------ let the music play....

I went there back in feb 99. I didn't know anything about the scene back then--it was my first time in london so I went to this little club. SoHo section of london, on oxford street I think. Anyway, u went down the stair to a very tiny dance floor, with hardly no lights. On the back, a stair took u up to a small bar in the back. It was packed, it had a great soundsystem wiht perfect bass frequency, and the dj was being accompanied with percussion instruments. No space to dance but a real underground experience--everybody was nice and friendly, really into the music--hard house music. Later on in DJ mag, I read that the space was converted to office space--after many years of that space hosting several clubs there. Plastic People being the last. Since I was a newbie to clubland and I was in london for my 1st time, I have fond memory of that place and that night--the smallest club in the world. Anybody else ever went there??? ------------------ let the music play....

If this party does happen, the ideal order would be: Let DT come first and build the night, then Cox comes in somwhere in the middle and does a 2 hr set or so, then DT takes over again from there and finishes the journey How about that??? DT does know how take make a night into a journey, that's why i suggested it and Cox plays very hard which means he's best suited for the middle ------------------ let the music play....

at around 4:30 am---hard pounding bass coming out of those speakers---place was going nutz 2nd time ever I went there--I think I've discovered his secret---all his track selection is danceable, pounding beats make you dance even if you don't want to he's an awsome dj and nope this was not a 2 hr set--let's just say an all nighter---he's quickly becoming my favorite dj ------------------ let the music play....

That's great news, Johnny!!!! If anything, do it for the TUNNEL. Keep that legendary nightspot banging like no other. Can we expect your Tunnel mix CD anytime soon????? This party has so much potential. Much support here. ------------------ let the music play....

sorry to hear that Johnny, you were doing great there but Tunnel is apparently being mismanaged and that's the only bad thing about that place, otherwise it's been a great party, I guess that NYC and the Tunnel need people that really know how to run clubs David ------------------ let the music play....

I agree with you about Denny's last night at Exit. I remember everybody complaining about him on this board( including me) but that night for whatever reason he blew up that place. It was an awesome party--after that I started missing his sets. ------------------ let the music play....

It's got one of the most POWERFUL vibes around, people's hands up in the air, it's jam packed, and the music is AWESOME---the soundsystem is powerful and perfect. When the night is over---the dancefloor is still packed, with people begging for more, asking the dj to continue, it's clubbing at its best with a dj that never lets it down--he works the floor perfectly. It's musical heaven and a night to remember. This AMAZING musical event will take place this Friday at Twilo. PVD is the MAN and don't tell me I didn't warn you--it's going to be simply the best. ------------------ let the music play....

Nothing wrong with a track that moves the crowd. What if you were a dj and ur floor was dead, everybody standing by the wall??? Would you play Zombie nation then?? I would. Ok, I agree the track is played out, no doubt about that but that's just natural. Every song gets played out. That doesn't take away anything from this track though. What amazes me about this track is that it stood out, it was different, it got noticed. Every producer's dream to make a track like that. Not that easy, trust me. If I was a producer, I would love to have a Zombie nation too. Plus, it'll make me a lot of money. I know this track is old, but it deserves credit for blowing up. It was a HIT---you can't beat that. ------------------ let the music play....

ok, went there last night, the space is nice--the music alternated bet. commercial house and hip hop/reggae...mostly house music though, the crowd looked nice, it's 18+ but a clubby crowd, it's a small club but has lounge space on front and the side room, it emptied out by 5, soundsystem is ok, it needs better lights and a bigger restrooms but I guess it's ok for that type of club,nice bar, it was already packed by 11:30 when I got there, overall--it's a nice alternative to the big rooms for variety-- just don't expect to be in Twilo ------------------ let the music play....

It's Boris spinning on Saturdays. Don't know about a theme for tonight but they always have performances. ------------------ let the music play....
