Yeah, I have to agree that Manumission, although a little cheesy and touristy, is a sight to be seen. Of course, for curiosity's sake only. I think that Privilige still holds the title of largest club in the world so you have to check it out. Last time I was there (well, last time I can actually recall anything that happened there) a midget dressed as Elvis was 'walking' his 'dog' (skinny guy dressed up in black leather bondage gear) who was biting my ankle while the midget was feeding me peanut butter from a spoon. I shit you not. This place is a trip. I've been to Ibiza six times (while I was still in the UK - too far to travel from here) and, although I promised myself each time I went that I wouldn't go to a Manumission night I always did. It's a laugh. Plus, the promo people shove the bloody flyers down your throat everywhere you go. I love trance but the hell with vocals - they have no business in anything trancey. But I'm English so I'm biased. BTW - where's the best place to go for some banging trance this evening? I'm coming to the city tonight. Anybody?

Space is superb. Just come out of Amnesia or Pacha or wherever and catch the bus! Great crowd (the true clubbers in Ibiza) and fantastic tunes. Haven't been to Ibiza for a couple of years but whenever I went, this is where you'd find me, either chilling out or still dancing my arse off - depending on the quality if you know what I mean. As I think someone cleared up earlier - it's sort of half outdoors and half indoors. The outdoors was shaded though last time I went by some rattan covering which let through this amazing light from the sun - I always remember the light. Yep, great times. Did anyone go this year? I was still in the U.S. and not back here in the U.K. so I couldn't go. Take care all.

Eric, Really glad that my lot treated you well and that you enjoyed the GC experience! You will probably understand why I miss home a lot now that I am over here! Great news that you liked Turnmills. The Gallery was a regular event for me - love the crowd and the guest DJ line up is always superb. Yep, PVD gets a little crazy - I'm looking forward to his set at Twilo on the 21st - will you be there? Wish I could have been at the GCSS event - it's not far from where I live and all of my friends were there the lucky bastards. So, are you an NY native? Any tips for the best places to go for me to get my 'fix' of Euro trance? Greg

TAUCHER IS AT WEBSTER HALL?????!!!!!! His sets are hard as nails!!! Oh man, I would love to hear another set from him. He's played Gatecrasher in Sheffield back in the U.K. many a time and I loved every time - well worth a listen. Wish I would have known sooner. Enjoy.

Es Paradis!!!!!!!! Just love that place. The decor is great but it's TOOOOO bright in there (until the morning when they open the roof and that's good). Not sure about the foam parties though! Gotta get back sometime. Enjoy - all of those off to the sunny isle this summer.

Club 18-30s??? You must be joking. I have persistently refused to sink to that level and you will see if you read some of my other Ibiza posts on various threads that they are the kind of people that have really spoilt Ibiza for me. I don't understand where my 'bad advice' lays in the previous post. If you'd like to be a little more specific? Better still - why don't you put some advice of your own up here? So, before shooting down my comments and branding me 'tacky' - offer up something we can discuss OK?

Ahh, the eternal question - what type of pills. This is the 'interesting' thing about buying E - it's a gamble, pure and simple, every time. Unless you happen to be close to someone with a direct and reliable source. Say this new brand '313373' really is as good as it's supposed to be. How long do you think it's going to be before every man and his dog start churning out any old pill with that particular logo on it? My point is, nothing stays good for long. It's one of the most sensitive supply and demand situations there is. In the U.K. it was Mitsubishis - they were pure MDMA (and I mean 180mg PURE) to begin with and within two months they weren't worth a shit. Manufacturers jump on the popularity bandwagon and cash in while the demand is still hot. No one brand is better than all the others. The only thing that I can say is to try and pick the lesser of all the evils and buy from the most 'reputable' (for want of a better word) dealer you know of and I'm sure you'll do fine. Good luck.
