BLANK & JONES!!!!!! these guys are awesome! pure energy!! Unfortunately, they cancelled their Xtraveganza night @ Privilege in Ibiza when I was there.... I was really looking foward to seeing them spin live next choice: Marco V

I just got confirmation from Space: S&D will start their set @ 12pm (I figure they mean noon). His sets usually last 5-6hrs so I think I can pull off both clubs in one night. We have a car so I dont have to worry about getting around.

I think its around 7hrs... not completely sure. The time zone thing and etd/eta using local times are confusing the hell out of me.

Ok I'll be there in less tan 2 weeks. I'll be heading off to Barcelona to chill for a couple of days and then I'll be going to Ibiza (SO F-ING EXCITED!!!). Ok here's my dilema: I'll be there only one sunday (total of 6 nights): I'm not that crazy about Judge Jules (he's ok~) but I cannot miss Ferry Corsten..I've been dying to see this guy forever. But I DO NOT want to miss S&D and Lawler. What is a man to do? Is it possible that I can time everything right to not miss one over the other? I am hoping that Corsten comes on early and S&D / Lawler comes on late... Can lady luck be on my side? Anyone have any ideas on their sets/times? Another dumb question: Can you leave clubs and come back in without having to pay again? (Stamped hands or something like that?)

Well, I had a good time. I left @3:30 but I heard it got pretty bad after that. I got all I wanted in a night out: lots of room to dance, rolling with friends, listening to good music (although the sound system is by no means like Phazon!).

Damn! I was hanging right in front and on the right side of the stage all night. I was the asian dude wearing a grey shirt w/ baggy light kaki pants (i'm ~6'1 and so is one of the other guys I came with). I originally went there with 3 guys and pretty much danced right in front of the stage until I ran into old friends. Then I was mostly chilling & dancing at the right side of the stage with a girl in a tan top and black pants(if you're facing the dj). Some of them were just sitting around by the right speaker stack. Well I have to agree with you. The place needs a better sound system & more promoters. Its a really nice space....But I think the age limit thing should be kept @ 21... Thats the only thing I hated about twilo (except the bouncers ofcourse)...too many kids. A real pity that we didnt meet up.... we were so close to each other too!

I had a really good time. Left early though ~3:30 or so. The place was practically empty. Which is all good cause I'd rather have it that way than having it packed in like sardines. Bond was pretty good. Almost the same set from his Boston set....alot of uplifting trance tunes. He rocked Boston. I guess the vibe was not as good as it could be but what can you expect when there's so little people. Overall, I am glad I went to the Roxy over DJ Scott Project @ LL because I wouldnt have had the space to really move @ LL (if it was as crowded as a gatecrasher night). I also ran into some old friends there and then it was all good. What else can you ask for? Lots of dancing space (god knows i need that), great music and hanging with old friends : ) Not a crazy night but a great night.

What a weekend. Got to boston around 10:30, checkinto the Hilton, got to avalon ~11 on Firday. The street was packed because of the stupid system avalon had of getting people in. No lines what so ever. Complete chaos. We luckly got in after 20minutes of dealing with the pushing&shoving. I have to say that I was fairly impressed with the place. Nice sized club with a decent sound system. I just couldnt understand the whole 'little house on the dance floor' bit with a damn lighted Gnome in it. WTF?? It was taking up precious dance floor space. The place was ridicoulously packed I thought. Anyway, I thought we had missed the beginning of PvD's 11:00 scheduled start. I guess he had problems getting there since he started to spin @ midnight. Damn, only 2 hrs of PvD I thought, that sucks. I am so used to his 7-8hr sets at Twilo that I felt sort of short changed. Well, I was wrong....although I would have loved to have stayed there for another few hours, by the time 2am rolled around, I was exhausted and completely covered in sweat. He was on. Great track selection from new to old. Two hours of pure bliss. I think the highlight of that night for me was when he dropped his remix of Blank&Jones' "CREAM". It was Fucking AWESOME!!!!!!!! Well, I must say 2 or 8hrs of PvD is all good. Doesnt matter how long he spins, he'll kick your ass no matter what. The best night I had since April @ Twilo. Saturday, we came to avalon ~10:15 to beat the crowds. I have to admit, I did not feel any airconditioning on friday because it was so damn crowded but on saturday, I felt I had to move to keep warm! It was freezing in there. I actually got to walk around everywhere and see what the club had to offer outside the dancefloor. The guy who opened for scott bond was pretty decent. Nice housey beats, got me moving and warmed up for what Scott Bond had to bring. He came on ~11:00 or 11:30 can't remember exactly. I remember hearing him for the first time @ limelight's gatecrashers and thinking to myself, this guys is NICE! Well he definitely did not disappoint! He was awesome. Alot of uplifting, melodic trance mixed with some hard pounding tech trance. Needless to say, I was covered in sweat once again....never leaving the dance floor once. Its really too bad that the place closes down @ 2. The last song was stopped abruptly and was a real downer to a great night....

I'll be there for sure!!! I'll be there to see scott bond on saturday @ avalon too. its going to be a great weekend away from home. psyched!
