your mixing up brokers and traders. my friend is a trader. he doesn't care about the company info of the stock he trades. all that matters to him is price, spread, bid, ask and volatility. it's all about the numbers. i ask him, what does so and so company do, he's like i have no clue, it brings me cash. brokers on the other hand actually research the company of the stock. traders do research as well, but very minimal.

im not sure of the specifics..but a friend of mine took it, GET THE BOOK...it's pretty tough. much more specific than series 7.
