I listen to them both. I heard Tiesto live for the first time last fall at Roxy & I thought he was great!!

When he spun Salvation a few years ago it was fairly crowded but not unbearable , I think he's be too big for a space like that now

Yeah the place definitely fell off big time, I miss the old Factory too, hell I even miss the bleachers but I still manage to always have a good time in there but I only really go for special occasions & there's no other place like it whether you love it or hate it

The first 2 years I went to the conference I went to go hear JP, this was in 2000 & 2001 & he was good those times , last year I opted for DT's party & stayed at Space the whole morning , maybe it was because I was so disappointed with JP at the "unclassics" night a few weeks before at Factory, this year I'm still debating

Space is nice last year a lot of the big names spun there DT, PVD, Tiesto, I like the deck in that place. Crobar & Level are some of the other bigger clubs down there, during the day Wet Willy's & Clevelander can be fun. I believe the bigger name dj's will be announced as the conference gets closer

No he's never spun at Factory, the times I've heard him in NY has been at Exit twice, Webster Hall once & Tunnel on a Thursday night. He doesn't really pull a crowd in NY like someone said, it's usually the people who would've went to the venue regardless of who's spinning

I said there was a disclaimer on the CD saying that crackles & distortions are gonna be heard, put the jar down boy :laugh: :laugh:

I was there from 11:00pm till he went off..... It was definitely packed & hot as balls ...i also noticed the rudeness of the crowd ...this was my 4th time at Exit ...first being the grand opening, twice for Acosta & last night...and the crowd hasn't gotten any better..i wasn't sober but i wasn't rolling cause i had something to do this morning but i did catch myself saying "next time it would help if i was on a pill to deal with the crowd"...BUT ...the music made it well worthwhile & i even told someone this morning that i'd deal with the crowd to hear him there again.....he tore the roof of the joint...no joke and i'll prolly be there for oakenfold too ..lol

Last night was my 6th time hearing Acosta live & I thought it was one of the best.

One of the best new bands out there right.

I was at that show at the Wetlands. Ray Beez ( RIP)sang the whole set from the dance floor. War Zone blew Strife away that day.

CBGB's has HC shows on Sundays on a regular now, also the Knitting Factory's gonna be having shows. SOIA just played 2 night there recently
