  3. that is amazing.....i loved playing with that skeleton also try http://www.vectorlounge.com/04_amsterdam/jam/flamjam.html
  4. again congrats! what you wrote above about pop music is amazing - i hope that the big companies don't follow our messageboard. or should i say - i hope they do! (for our and your sake). indeed, 'underground' shows what is lacking, but the whole idea of avant-garde became compromised when in turns into mainstream, and just a few of those bands escape this chliche. i think (and some may disagree) that 'portishead' never became mainstream -- hence they launched no more than 2 albums......so the question which really bothers me is: (and this will be a bit off the subject): how can one continue to like the music one liked before once it becomes mainstream? is itjust vanity, when one thinks: i cannot bear to listen to "xy" because it's now elevator music, or.....? ciao z
  5. lol, this was worth asking...hmm, i have to ad: jungle and happy hardcoce (probably the worst music i ever heard)
  6. this is after all DRAMA so we need to say what we dislike.... i cannopt stand: country rap hip-hop 60s-70s rock-n-roll any kind of folk music soul r'n'b impro jazz german techno german trance (nothing against germans) and romanticism (in classical music) that's quite a list.....i could have said what i like instead....anyway, your turn now.

  9. oh but we do care about it...eminem is way too gross...i'd never even mention him in a song! bloody homophobe.....
  10. wow, quite an analysis...you should write for a mag....seriously.....indeed, that's pop music, but what do we do with music that's not mass-distributed? does it also reflect the time?
  11. LOL...you do that! it's a *hot* topic... :D
  12. glowgirl...at least from her pics (i never met her)

  15. me: body YSL, must de cartier, diesel masculine ++ (the sexiest of all), bulgari black, CdG her: diva (ungaro), miss dior, jean patou him: helmut lang
  16. well disco-house is not all bad, i think (think of bob sinclair and superdiscount compilation, for example) but it can certainly get cheesy + if you originally hate disco you can't like disco-house. another thing: usually poeple who like trance hate house and disco house because it sounds to "mellow"....and one can't argue about tastes, though we do it here all the time...
  17. as a european, perhaps i should defend the greeks, lol....seriously, i don't think that greeks have their own production of trance....if they do, i can only imagine how bad it is....they Love mixing folk songs (anything "ethno" goes in the souuth of europe) with club music, which i find unbearable...however, most of euro trance music is produced in germany, and from germany also comes the best avant-garde music at the moment, that is - electro-retro (see THE FACE, february 2002 on Dj hell). and lastly, trance is not very popular in europe for like 3 years....i thought it 's only played now in israel and goa....the popular styles are tech-house, elektro-retro, and disco-house (the last one become very mainstream and boring).....
  18. hmmm.....this is drama...but wait, we must have seen *dudes* like this before...i wonder what they profit from posting a message like this one....a sense of their own heterosexuality? power? hmmm......
  19. your spelling is ok, but your dictionary needs some polishing...it betrays quite a vulgar personality...but hey, that's not a thing one can change so easily....
  20. hmm a tough question to answer for a foreigner...my parents are still back in europe....and since we don't have black n/hoods there i can't reply. however, from my brief experience in nyc, dc & philly i wouldn't live in a black n/hood, not because i'm a racist but because i still feel the tension between the races and i don't see what one can do about it. of course, you can say that one can live together, but i don't think multiculturalism works as it should, at least not as long as i get angry looks in the subway and in the street just because i'm white....i'm sorry, i was disappointed with it myself when i first came to the usa, but it didn't happen yet...
  21. oh this was nice - it rarely happens here that someone is actually kind...so again, it's all good, i wish you guys all the best with exit...keep the clubbing going!
