Yeah, back off da hipsters dudes,...probably the only place that gets packed for alternative electronica on a weeknight and has great vegan cookies, free popcorn with your "hipster" movie and cheap bottles of wine.
And on Saturday I got a working super-8 film camera for $5!! Can't beat that...not even at a tag sale.

OKAY guys, AVB was cancelled so y'all missed your chance to welcome our friend from Amsterdam to the NYC scene....but we are gonna do it in style tonight at Vinyl with tribal house provided curtousy of Mr. Lawler. I know there's a meet-up at 5, but he's got a plane to catch so there is a special "DaFunkadelic Meet Up" at 3 am in the chill out room. Can't miss him...he's 6'6" and Euro looking. I think Tranceds point is the best here....rhetoric can get you anywhere. If you want to convince justin his name is bill its fine, but if you want to convince people to not question the US's foreign policy, military industial complex and basic racism its a pretty dangerous skill. Maybe we keep quiet cause we do worse? How many of you are aware that the US spends millions of our democratically represented tax-dollars on training schools for international terrorists. I've always been a stanch Downocrat, somewho getting down just feels right, even if I happen to bounce before the Downstroke. But I agree with Clinton, we need to work together to bring the funk.

I am in love with Everything But the Girl's BTM....so beautiful, moody, poignant, uplifting with some Slick Rick thrown in....brilliant shit. I really can't think of anything else to say...how to explain how completely in awe of Hawtin I am, how completely at home I feel hanging out with y'all, how completely alive I feel just dancing and sweating like crazy on a Monday night, how smug I feel Tuesday mornings, sitting in the office, looking at my boss thinking "If you only knew.."
All three Dj's last night were EVIL, absolutely committed to HURTING us, and damn they did a good job...my knee is pissed.
I just want it to be Monday night with Richie every night. I don't think I'm going out on the weekends anymore- I'm saving all my love for Tronic.

Some of us had to make some very hard, painful decisions last night, and let me tell you, I could have danced your drunk ass out the door if I didn't have the biggest day of my career today and need to be functional til 10pm (and then hopefully make it to Filter 14). You know you hang out with a sick bunch of kids when people give you shit for only staying out til 3am on a MONDAY FUCKIN NIGHT!!
