anyway things look good for coal tonight. i walked in tehre.. things appear to be all set up in coal (so we won't be in solas! sorry about last week, guys.. circumstances were out of my control!)
guest DJ tonight is CER which should be cool.
May looks really really good, guys. I'm so excited. We're having Sam (Class of '83, en:vision Records / UK) come in. He's the guy who did Taurus & Neptune on en:vision. Fucking DOPE track. I know me & Royce have been wearing down our copies!!
Also, Joe Sweeney, whom some of you may know from the nubreaks.com board, will be playing. And we've got A:Dubl from SF in town. Not to mention locals Orion & Sneak-E-Pete both scheduled for May.
And then in June we've got Imri & Smalls (the Solid Breaks tour's NYC stop), we're hopefully going to have Melee, Mo7s (they're both from Boston) and DJ Patti (Vermont).. so that's pretty much it until the end of June!

and anyway, why specifically Miss Bliss & Doomer? Why not DJ Wool and Doomer or either of us versus any of the other people Sara does her party with? Is there some reason why people think that me and her have beef? Just curious, 'cause as far as I know we're totally cool...

There's no rivalry!! In my understanding, not that I've ever been there, Static is a more electro/experimental breakbeat party, and that's cool, but it's totally different from what we're doing at Big Apple Breaks.

sat - greenwich, ct (bleu)
sun - lep lounge (re:fresh, open bar 8-9, i'm playing 9:30-11)
next week.. krafty kuts at big apple breaks which will double as ugo's going away party -- he's leaving on 4/19 for paris.. permanently
also i'm playing on WNYU radio friday night, krafty again on sunday at orchard bar (it's $4), then tuesday 4/16 w/ satoshi tomiie at filter 14 (i'll be in the basement)stop by for the nyc nights if you can.

But it was a good time, thanks to everyone who came out, and especially those who stayed for that "Rhythm's A Drug" remix I played at the very end! If rhythm's a drug I'm hooked on you, so show me every move... uh ok I'm gonna stop now. Moving right along, next week (4/10) we've got....

Krafty will be playing on Sunday 4/14 at ORchard Bar as well along w/ me, Orion, Henry J, Sneak-E-Pete & Phil Aupperle. 5 local djs, plus one breakbeat superstar.. and it's $4 so just wanted to make sure y'all know about that one. I'll have flyers for the sunday thing tonight, and I'll also have flyers for tomorrow at shelter tonight (it's reduced admission w/ the flyer).
