WORD UP!!! Yesterday I saw "Unbreakable" by myself, and Sunday, I will probably go to B&S by myself....to me, "gettin lucky" means not having to bring out the ball and chain (or anyone else) when I'm trying to chill....I don't believe you necessarily meet more people being solo(I'm the quiet type ), but at least you don't have to listen to anyone bitch and moan about "it's hot" or "I'm ready to go"....

I hope you understand that over the next few days crazy people are going to be suffering from withdrawl symptoms!!! I wish I could speculate on why you're "closing" (for lack of a better term) UNYC, and of course we all have theories and queries, but I hope that you'll use one of the forums to let us know the deal, for real. In all the time that was spent on UNYC discussing ways to protect and nurture House Music and the scene, we overlooked protecting and nurturing the only outlet that let these discussions take place. Just know you provide such a needed service that I, for one, would gladly be willing to pay for it - if that was one of the roadblocks in getting you back on-line. I hope to bump into you @ B&S or D.R. sometime in the next coupla weeks, just to finally intro myself. Peace and Blessings!!!

Artful- Bigs ups to you for mentioning Jeet Kun Do- Bruce Lee was a true teacher and prophet. The book "Tao of the Jeet Kune Do" should be required reading of anyone, not just martial artists or those just beginning, cause it is all about balance and harmony being key in all thing. I'm by no means a martial artist, but I have trained and read of many differnt disciplines.

Wow, the first time was at an old roller-rink called the "A" (USA Rollerskates) in Queens- they used to throw hip-hop shows on the weekend. Went to see Joe-ski performing "Pee-Wee's Dance"- the bastard showed up at 3:30 am, did his one song, and broke out....it was great... started housin at the Tunnel and Red Zone after that, which was many moons ago
