  1. ...she was MIA all day yesterday... ...she was my little puff and dance partner at homegrown... ...fun is the appropriate term...
  2. ...it's hard for me to watch certain things go down in front of me...i like you take responsibility for my own actions...i've been around this scene for too long...we used to chill with Jimmy at Foxes and toast a few back in the day...ask Denny Tsettos about Niko from DMN and he'll tell you - I have no enemies and am friends with many djs and the like - as much as I believe NJ gets a bad rap in terms of musical appreciation and its nightlife, I also believe people should not be picked on in public - it's as simple as that...everybody's got a cause... i'll see you down the way...maybe 11/2 on my birthday...
  3. ...so you're a good greek because you're a promoter? or because you can gang up on somebody on the board and blow their spot? or because you can call me an assfucker? boy, i'm truly impressed...listen g, i didn't say "our" heritage because i wasnt sure you were greek...and if you think i'm a tough guy then so be it...all i'm trying to do is tell you how WRONG it is to do this shit...now since that is not working, I will talk to you at image or on the phone or via pm...you're not hearing me but misunderstanding me...
  4. perhaps I'm a little biased as I know laraver but the fact is he is a solid dj - you can take issues with his words if you like and even his attitude towards clubs and other djs BUT he can turn it up and tear sh-t up... mind you that I have met and listened to most of the djs on this board...I have listened and hung with Denny Tsettos, Danny T, got to meet Carl Cox in the booth and chit chat, etc... problem here is, this doesnt seem to be about music any more...this is typical NJ drama, it's about who you know and who you like and dont like... kostap - are you greek? I'm hoping not because your words and demeanor would be an insult to my heritage. Those that rash and thrash about with the cursing and threats should raise their levels of maturity and intelligence - in lamen's terms, "Grow the fuck up". There's better ways to throw down - this is not one of them. I have a feeling you and I will meet one day and we can talk man to man. You may want to do the same with laraver - but on the side like it should have been done to begin with. Bustin' it up like you and your friends did was simply not right and no one with half a brain will support the action. Everyone involved will remember - what goes around, comes around.
  5. As you can see, I am "New to the Board" but I am most definitely Old to the School (12+ years in the clubs with the scars to prove it). After reading the "attn laraver" posts and replies I want to throw out the question, "What do you primarily use this board for and what do you think it is meant for?" I have to say there is a big difference between this one and New York - and it aint good (even though Im a jersey boy through and through). Nothing personal on any of the above..just curious...this scene does not seem to be what it used to be (whole other post)... -niko:confused:
  6. reasons to not become a dj in nj...see above... i luv all of you guys but this is pathetic - what's worse is that you are all out of your teens... why did u guys start out in this industry and stay in it? is it the music, the drugs, or the drama? come one...how bout a hug. -niko

  13. Check it - a complete experience: "Chris Lewis has spun his magical mix fusing tribal beats, trance, acid, hard breaks, techno and tech house at clubs and parties on both the East and West Coasts. His unique style was forged by experiences in the dance music capitols of Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. Chris has shared the decks with top name DJ's such as Timo Maas, DJ Disciple, Leon Alexander, Terry Lee Brown Jr. and has awed crowds at world famous clubs such as Webster Hall, Exit and Tunnel (NYC), Glam Slam (Prince's club in LA) and Metropolis w/ residents Taylor, Sandra Collins, and Doc Martin) in Irvine CA. His debut mix compilation CD, "Modern Primitivc Tribal Acid" later went on to be charted in the buzz chart of the June 2000 issue of "MIXER", ahead of other releases by such world renowned DJ's, including the critically acclaimed "Out There and Back" by Paul Van Dyk. CD's will be given away at this performance." Yeah, it's a pump - but he deserved it and earned it. -Niko I can dig it U can dig it We can dig it
