Some tracks just get better with time. First surfacing in 2007 as ‘Feels Like Home’ which went on to become an international club monster, Meck was subsequently contacted by Madonnano less to help her use 'Feels Like Home' in a mashup with her classic ‘Like A Prayer’ in the summer 2008. Which was featured heavily on her'Sticky & Sweet' Tour.

Following unprecedented demandMeck and Dino now bring you the track that caused such a stir with a host of top notch remixes from man of the moment Michael Woods, Dutch master Rene Amesz and acclaimed tech / trance producer Bart Claessen.

With his interpretation already receiving massive support from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Michael Woods means business with his remix, building subtle tension with short drops and big FX rises before slamming back in with the beats & driving bass line, taking you to the break down then unleashing an unashamedly euphoric riff pattern that will make you reminisce back to the good old days of House music. The mix is very high in intensity and will blow the roof off any party the world over!

Rene Amesz comes with his trademark Dutch sound, piercing synth stabs layered over crisp chugging beats making very good use of the vocal line ‘Feel’s Like Home’, before that recognizable riff bursts out of the speakers and takes hold of your senses. The track progresses with a big and bold bass line and variating percussion hits in the mix, this mix will stretch across many different playlists!

Bart Claessen debuts on Napith Music with a booming tech-trance take of the original. His up-tempo rhythms are well crafted releasing awesomely uplifting waves of sound that will raise the hairs on the back of every neck in the club. As with the previous mixes he drops the euphoric riff pattern in the break but only teases us with it until the beats drop back in and he let’s go with that killer riff.

An energetic mix that will receive support from all the heavy hitters!

There is a mix to suit everyone’s tastes and ‘Feels Like A Prayer’ is no doubt the summer anthem of 2010.

SHARAM TO TAKE PART IN GUMBALL 3000 RALLY

DJ/PRODUCER WILL ALSO HOST 4 CLUB EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE NORTH AMERICAN LEG

(New York, NY) US dance music icon, Sharam, has announced he’ll be taking part in this year’s Gumball 3000 Rally.

By day, he’ll be taking the wheel of a 1970’s Dodge Coronet Super Bee, powered with a Hemi engine; by night he’ll be hosting a Gumball 3000 Rally club event at each of the North American stages of the rally, spinning a DJ set for the drivers and those clubbers looking for the biggest party of the year.

Sharam kicks off proceedings in Boston, with a show at Venu (4 May); he’ll then hit the road and drive to Quebec City with an event at Dagobert (5 May) joined by Jade Jagger’s Jezebel and their resident DJ, D.R.W. Sharam’s next stage is a 500 mile trip to Toronto, throwing a party at the city’s Ultra club that night (6 May) (also joined by Jezebel). The final leg will then take him to New York City, with an almighty closing party at QUO Nightclub (7 May).

Grammy-winner Sharam has kicked off 2010 in inimitable fashion. Having won the coveted BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix Of The Year title at the end of last year he claimed the first Buzz Chart No.1 of this year with his haunting single ‘Don’t Say A Word’.

His forthcoming release, the ‘MACH 1 EP’, is out 7 April on Beatport, featuring two new tracks: ‘Love Love Love’ and ‘Hemi’.

    THE FIRE AND REASON *live*

    About THE FIRE AND REASON

"It's no shocker that NY's own electro-clash Svengali, DJ and club impresario, Larry Tee is releasing the debut EP from this fresh-from-the-streets-electro-rock act on his label DJs Are Not Rockstars. A combination of Lower East Side rock chick, '80s Madonna, South American hipster and global jetsetter, Saona has that effortless star quality that sets some electro-rockers a few nothches higher right off the bat. The band has the potential to break electro-rock in the mainstream--they could give the Ting Tings a run for their money." Time Out Chicago Formed in 2006 by Bella Saona(from Brazil) and Steve Narvaez(from Ecuador) The Fire and Reason(TFaR) have made their beats harder, their basslines dirtier and their songs even more decadent than in previous incarnations. Imagine a rabid Karen O singing over tracks written by MSTRKRFT and remixed by JUSTICE! In a major coup TFaR got Parisian THE TOXIC AVENGER to remix their infectious hit "NME", and really put a BIG STOMP in the electro-dance world. Singing in both Spanish (Mi Corazon) and Portuguese (Preste Atençao) TFaR remain true to their Latin roots.

The Fire and Reason have also been discovered by the world of TV and Film and have landed placements in various upcoming projects. From movies to reality shows, their unique blend of ROCK to Baile Funk to Electro-POP Dance, never fails to disappoint or surprise the listener. Their aptly titled vampire anthem "Teeth" is being used in the upcoming DMX, Michael Madsen, and Vinnie Jones, film "The Bleeding". If this all wasn't exciting enough The Fire and Reason just won the coveted NewNowNext Award for Brink of Fame: Music Artist beating out artist such as: Lykkie Li, Morningwood, LMFAO, Ladyhawke, & Sam Sparro! Last year's winner was LADY GAGA, not a bad path to follow. Keep your eyes out for The Fire and Reason, word on the street is that they are developing their own reality show.....

  6. NICE! Ok some were already on the list but a lot of nice new suggestions as well....I got the message about Carna-vale

The site looks dope for a little happy hour and noshing before we all head out somewhere.

Ok so we are looking at end of the month maybe pre-game at a bar/restaurant and on to a club maybe all together....jesus imagine 200 of us show up someplace. Where is Maudy when I need need him....still in Italy somewhere?

  7. I am not arguing with the fact things have been a bit dead for a while. But I spoke with the powers that be and they are going to let the remaining members here conduct an experiment. I mean CP (clubnyc) was the first social network for people like us. So we get to go back to the meetups, free entries and perks we had around 2001-2002

    Let's see what happens.

  8. I am cleaning out my hard drives and backing up a lot of my files. In the process I am coming across hundreds of photos from events over the years. NY, Miami, DC, LA, SF, Denver, UK, NL etc and I decided to make some resolutions.

    • Reflect before acting. Always remember where I came from and embrace the lessons that have brought me to this point and take it all into consideration when moving forward.
    • Make more of an effort at forgiveness. Things that were said long ago are not worth carrying a grudge over. And are unhealthly to hold on to.
    • Be more positive. In general, where I am from a sharp tongue and synicism is part of our genetic makeup but doesn't mean I have to give into it.
    • I resolve overall to be a better daughter, sister, (future) wife, friend and hopefully person.

I am posting this basically to make a commitment to myself. If you have your own resolutions would love to hear them as well.
