CNYC was THE spot for insight, inside info, reviews, news, rumors, and interaction with the people of nightlife... there were people here who RAN parties... not just subpromoters with tally lists... people who ran record shops... DJs (I mean DJs who spin in places OTHER THAN their bedroom, or mom's basement)... people who knew what they were talking about, and knew how to express themselves coherently and in a cognet manner... and people who knew how to STFU when neccessary. Yeah, there was shade and drama, as there always is and always will be... but the board never averaged down to the dumbness levels achieved in recent months...
