  1. Lawler was amazing. This is my second time atTwilo for Lawler, and both were unforgettable nghts. Never too packed, and the music was soooo good. Vibe was incredible, and he dropped so many great songs. Hide u, My Release, ad many others. awesome night overall. justin
  2. Is it just me, or are Lawler nights amazing at Twilo. I was there on Jan. 5 and again this Friday(3/2), and the vibe was incredible. I found that there was the perfect amount of people, and the music was amazing. He dropped so many phat songs. i think it was DJ Three who played Hide U, a defenite favorite, but i also heard Cevin Fisher's Love U Some Mor, of his NuBreed, as well as Medway's My Release off Digweed's LA, and even off Trisco's Musak off Communicate, and i am sure I am leaving some of the other great tracks out. Please respond, and let me know if anyone arees with the fact that it was a great night, with an amazing vibe. Justin
  3. i agree with you. outside of twilo, there really are no talemnted dj's, except for dt. i mean, draper, boris, mills, vicious, even JP. none of them have real talent. just know how to move a drugged up crowd, which is not too difficult. stick with twilo. the vibe is indescribeable.
  4. listen. i do not know why everyone gets so excited for JV. i saw hime 8/19 at tunnel for opening night, and he really wasn't good. in fact, none of these dj's you all worship have any real talent. c'mon. who the hell is luv and lodi? tony draper? their tracks really would not sound g good sober. i mean, i admit i have had many exciting night listening to both of thesedj's, but the tracks just sound good when u are fucked up. they really have no talent. in my opinion, vinyl and twilo are the only clubs in the city trhat get dj's that are worth seeing. please respond with your feelings on this matter.
  5. we got there at 1:45, and we gotin 1t 5:15. it was crazy. we were there for 3 hrs 15 min, and then he stopped. plus we got 12 fake pills before in factory. lol. oh well.
  6. i have been in boston since the beginning of september for college, and while here, after enjoying an amazing summer of great clubs, i came here to find that the scene sucks. the kids here talk about their local dj's, such as desimone, but they are garbage. i mean, i heard the guy go from big pimpin to sandstormn with no transition. just switched the tracks over. i mean,. it is still amazing to hear diggers tear it up at axis, but even then,. the 4 hour sets, and the vibe, pale in comparison to twilo. i dunno. i just think that there is all this hype about clubs up here, but, after going to the city for a summer, i don't even consider them to be "real" clubs or dj's. Justin
  7. ok. for the last 6 months i have been trying to go to s+d, but things never worked out. the last 2 times, my 2 best friends went, and i couldn't go. friday night, we finally were all tgether and we headed out for twilo, planning the night for at least a month, since we all are in college far from each other. we hit sf and left at 5, and we arrived at s+d at 5:15. more excited than ever, i held my id out, only to be told that they were not letting any more guys in. wtf??? i was waiting months for this night. and the guy says, there are too many guys inside. go get some girls. are u kidding??? i almost cried. i asked him 50 times to please let us in. i don't get it. twilo is not a cheesy club like sf or exit, where you go to meet girls and hear cheap house tracks that are cool when ur fucked up. sasha and digweed are the greatest dj's in the world, in my opinion, and i don't think twilo should be about the girl/guy ratio. i just wanted to fucking dance and enjoy s+d for my first time, and i got flart out denied. i don't know. just telling you how shitty that was, especially after so much planning. respond with thoughts. 8. yo. i am 17, and the first time i ever went was sf friday in early may 2000. i was almost done with high school, and i was right at the top of my class, so clubbing wasn't really a big priority of mine. i went, and i tried e(god knows why), and i had the moist amazing night. i was on the floor all night and the music was amaazing. all summer i went to exit fridays, and there was never a bad week. peace. justin
