  10. If it was no big deal why did u feel the need to post on clubplanet and create more drama?
  11. Just to clarify some things here. The date was NOT cancelled when "the hype" and club planet moderator indicated on a previous thread. It is true that there was discussion and Love DID want to continue with the party so they are not to blame. Vibe cancelled later on for his own reasons. That's how the cards fell. I am out of the country right now, but I saw this and wanted the facts to be known. As it stands there was a future event early next year in the works for a rain date. Best to all- Adam
  12. Newest club in Shanghai... 10 foot stacks! First time anywhere, stacks with this driver configuration. I think Richard Long would be proud Even Stereo, Montreal didnt have these horn loaded cabinets, so we're in new territory here....

  16. Yes most are fake, but there are a few floating around that are genuine. That 2 part cancun one and one from 1998 at this club up in Canada that is truly AMAZING. I know that cancun one was done without him knowing it which is really fucked up. The 1998 one is really off the hook, like the old tunnel early vinyl days.
  17. I have to go with the Flash remix and remix of Here to Eternity. Still remember hearing them debuted at Vinyl on that gritty analog system. Not many around anymore that seem to remember those days, but man nothing worked that system like Flash...the ROLLING BOOM!
  18. Dress code is: Where clothes! lol There is none, rock out however you want.
  19. Larry's party is fantastic. It is totally different then anything i'm used to being like an electro-punkrock gay party. But it's packed and everyone has a blast. Props! I have to say we're the only party booking house/tribal/progressive dj's at the club, which makes our party a bit different. This week will be an intimate one as were in the vault with the freshly upgraded soundsystem. Regardless, it's definitely one of the nicest venues in the city right now. Definitely worth checking out.
  20. If you guys wanna come, email us for the list: twistedatelement@yahoo.com http://www.myspace.com/twistedatelement

  22. With a VERY rare appearance in the city, the TWISTED foreman himself, Rob Di Stefano mans the decks at Sully. www.sullivanroom.com www.twistedamerica.com www.adamfreemer.com For guestlist: guestlist@djadamf.com --------------------------------------------------- ROB Di STEFANO …is TWISTED As the founder of two of dance music's best-known record labels, Rob Di Stefano is the man responsible for some of 90's House Music's most important artists and songs. In 1991, he created the independent labels TRIBAL America / TRIBAL United Kingdom Records. Within five years, TRIBAL grew to be the genre's most respected underground imprint. As label president / head of A&R (and as U.S. managing director of William Orbit's Guerilla Records, distributed by Tribal in the U.S.), Di Stefano found and developed many of the biggest names in contemporary dance music. Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Junior Vasquez, Murk, Underground Sound of Lisbon and others began their careers with Di Stefano or watched them grow under his guidance and direction. TRIBAL closed in early 1996 when Di Stefano left parent company IRS Records (who, without TRIBAL’s income, went out of business months after Di Stefano’s departure). In August that same year, Rob formed TWISTED Records, a new label built from the remains of his former imprint and launched it with the hit “Fired Up!â€. The entire TRIBAL artist roster and label staff moved to TWISTED, a joint-venture with Universal/MCA, where Di Stefano continued to build a trademark brand name and very successful artists (Funky Green Dogs, Club 69, Celeda). A three-year association with Universal/MCA ended in June 1999 and many feared yet another loss of Di Stefano’s landmark label, credited as the pioneer of today’s popular “dark house†sound. TWISTED was silent until June 2001 when it was re-launched with the single "The Revolution" by London-based Superchumbo (Tom Stephan). In true TWISTED form, the record is one of the company’s most popular titles, topping many of the world’s dance music charts, and Superchumbo is one of the genre’s hottest new properties. While TWISTED continues to grow, so does Di Stefano’s DJ career, which unofficially began at university in the late 1980's and takes another big step with his mix-CD Yorn Sound System for EMI-Portugal, in association with Vodafone Portugal and national TV channel SIC Radical. As a DJ, he combines a dark house sound with a skilled A&R ear to successfully promote his record labels and artists. "TWISTED’s imaging is most important to me. As a DJ, I consider a successful night one in which the crowd leaves with TWISTED on their minds -- the logo, the music, the image.†Rob has traveled throughout Europe and North America, and has played alongside some of the world's best-known jocks: Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Cevin Fisher, Danny Howells, Juri Holkinnen, Tom Stephan, Phil Perry, DJ Vibe, DJ Pierre, Angel Moraes, Jaydee, Peter Rauhofer, Jim Masters, Tony Humphries, Salt City Orchestra, The Murk Boys, Deep Dish, Ashley Beedle and many others in some of the world's most prestigious clubs (Twilo NYC, Ministry of Sound London, Lux Lisbon…). Di Stefano’s discoveries continue to enjoy lasting success and exposure. Now-familiar names like Tenaglia, Murk, and Deep Dish are joined by recent hitmakers Rui da Silva, Celeda, Suzanne Palmer, Superchumbo, DJ Vibe and Peter Rauhofer. With his TWISTED label back in full operation, and a hectic tour schedule, Di Stefano is very busy in 2002 with new music from: Danny, Tom, 4Toasters (Portugal), Sapphirecut (Philadelphia), Trendroid, Greg O, and Kats & Styles (all from NYC), Murk, and many others.
