i went to dragon room. had some decent beans. music and vibes were excellent, except for waiting at bar for 1/2 an hour. then went to circus, which sucked. people aren't as open-minded or cool there. what did everyone else do?

Sabre, My heart goes out to ya. I'm in the same boat as you are - a daily toker. If I can offer my 2 cents worth, I'd chill for as long as possible (even a day off gets my tolerance back down). And I'd do all the things that weed sometimes interferes w/ - you know errands, projects, etc. Just something to keep you busy and keep your mind off it. Stay away from any triggers - music, clubs, bars, etc. Before you know it, you won't be dwelling on it too much and you'll feel so much better. Best of luck to ya.

I had introduced a friend to rollin' and the second time we went out, he was rollin' HARD. We're talking hallucinations (both audio and visual). Well, we come back to my place to crash and he's still bobbin' his head, clappin his hands, waving to people and asking how they're doing. Problem was, THERE WAS NO MUSIC AND NOBODY ELSE IN MY APT!!! Then he thought he was at work and I was a co-worker and he started giving me advice on the job, which of course was irrelevant. Although this was quite an amusing situation, I learned that I cannot just turn anyone on to E - they should have some sort of previous exp w/drugs, or it should be done in a very controlled environment. But it was still hilarious as hell.

Did y'all see it last nite? How chessy was that couple, juggling, doing handstands and shit? And how annoying were the 'old school' ravers who complained about it becoming mainstream? The one boy who said he couldn't wait til the rave scene goes back underground, like it was 2 yrs ago? C'mon! I'm sure many of us were rollin' in clubs as early as 5yrs ago. And aren't we supposed to share w/each other, instead of shutting others out? Let's hear your thoughts...

I think that's fuggin' wacked out. Dudes are probably gay or bi. I have rolled w/certain buddies and after the nite's over, when we're all falling asleep or just hanging, these certain buddies have j'd off in my presence. Hard to tell whether they wanted me to know or whether they just did a shitty job of concealing the act. In any case, its not warranted and in an e-induced state of mind, can be quite a bad trip. Now I have suspicions about these certain friends. Not that I have anything against gay or bi guys, just be fuggin' up front about it, AIIGHT?!? KEEP THE MONKEY-SLAPPIN' TO YOUR DAMN SELF!!!

Always wanted to know - how long have people been rollin'? Where did it start? (the club/rave scene, that is) I heard E came out in the 70's, maybe 80's. Did they have house and other electronic music back then? Or did they kick it to Disco? Asking b/c 70's and 80's music can be pretty good when there's no electronica around, and that would make me wonder - did New Order roll alot? (we all know there ol' classic from the movie Blade). What about all that 70's disco - those cats HAD to be on e! Any thoughts on this would be appreciated! STILL SMOKIN'

'sup y'all? glad to report since my break from da rollz, i'm not really hearing things anymore! the time off has really helped. and the funny thing is the desire to roll has almost disappeared - until i hear a real nice house/trance mix... but i vow to keep it to only special occasions - rollin' every wk or even every other wk just is too much for me. but, to each his/her own. PLUR p.s. but i'm still smokin' 24/7!!!

tiestoisgod: thanks for your suggestions. sounds like you're the guru... have my buds in plastic tupperware, hope it collects the crystals ok. my problem really is the bud quality - no kb around chi-town unless you wanna pay up the ass for it - $65-80 for an 1/8! so, i get by w/the mid-grade and although there is a lack of crystals compared to the kb, there is a little. will scrape up and sprinkle next chance i get and hopefully will be incapacitated to write back! -melloyello
