love the Ibiza vibe...been there the last 2 years...definitely sounds like i should check it out...im looking to go to Le Souk on some random Sunday since ive never heard anything bad about it...u guys get a decent amount of people in there?...by the way how what the Lee Burridge party at Splashlight Studios and u got any info on Centro Fly (as far as what changes theyre making and when its opening)?...thanks bro

ministry of sound radio....live shows where u can email the DJs....really good shit....tongy of course on fridays from 1-4 but MOS Monday, Wednesday, Thursday...Tuesdays are the breakbeat and hard dance shows so i dont even tune in

how is that place?...i hear tongy talk alot about it on his show on fridays...i know lawler has his harlem nights residency there and im thinkin of coming to the UK for the 2nd bank holiday of next year (last week of may which is memorial day in the states)...give me some info...Lawler has played 2 of the best sets ive ever heard and i just saw him last month on the terrace at Space, Ibiza for the Radio 1 weekend...since he usually plays at Vinyl here in NYC which serves no alcohol i dont go to see him

Im from the NY board...someone posted that WMC is almost definitely getting moved to Vegas in 2004...now ive heard this for quite a while and i think it would be the biggest mistake to move it there...its probably the most overrated place ive been to...theres nothing to do during the day except gamble and sit by the pool...WMC would probably fail there just for that reason alone...theres no outdoor venues for daytime events which WMC heavily relies on and gambling would take away people from the venues...the clubs are rather small as well....either way if someones got any info (from an inside source or personal knowledge) on whether this is fact or fiction please let me know...ill go to miami regardless if WMC is moved to vegas anyway...miami was built for an event like that though..cheers

that rumors been going on for years...that would totally be a huge mistake...theres nothing to do during the day in vegas except gamble...theres no day spots either...also when there is all that gambling it would take away from alot of the venues...not to mention i think vegas is the most overrated place ive been to...i wouldnt even go to WMC if it was there...id still do miami...miami was built for WMC

yo brian...its joe longo...told ya i seen ur post on the board...that place le souk is sickkk...and sullivan room is definitely a good venue for u guys to play at...if i were u i would push that ur from MOS cause Americans know MOS from the CDs they put out...they have their own section in the Virgin Megastores in NYC so if ya want a bit more of a crowd id push the issue...ill probably check out one of the gigs, not sure which one yet..and to those whove never heard the man spin, i can vouch for the guy...hes pretty freakin good..very uplifting, soulful, funky stuff..lata bro

wow thats so god damn freaky...i swear i dont know anyone on this board but that really hits home....i remember that day like it was yesterday and believe it or not i had nightmares about it last night....God bless everyone who passed on that day....and i hope that people dont forget this day like Americans typically throw things in the past...theres not 1 day i wake up in the morning and forget that day and thank god im still around...so much to say about this but lets leave it at that...God Bless America as well

heres another thing...why the hell do we cater so much to that sewer of a state, jersey...if u listen to KTU or any station for that matter its like jerseys getting more shout outs and club appearances than NYC..dont get me wrong theres so many people that work in NY from the sewer which is why it happens but jesus christ can we focus a bit on our own city for once...also when u listen to Pete Tongs Friday show on Radio 1 which starts at 6 in the evening til 9 just like most UK dance shows, u will here them give the 411 on whats hot to go to, whose spinning where...why the hell doesnt NY have it...as far as hiphop goes...its sooooo wack these days i cant even begin to start...heres a typical Hot 97 or Power 105 lineup for an hour Jay Z and Beyonce 50 Cent Sean Paul Mary J Blige a 5-7 minute commercial some southern crap maybe a song from a few years back back to Jiggaman back to 50 cent and the sequence continues i used to love hiphop but it is beyond wack these days....the problem is that the record labels dish out mega $$$ to have these songs played every 10 minutes...lets just say it like it is music in general is in a sad state
