  1. 1. Winx-Don't Laugh (Richie Santana & Peter Bailey Remix) [Nervous Records] LOVE this track! Always loved the original from back in the day. Richie & Peter did a great job updating this track. Its got that sound that is quickly becoming signature for this duo who are blowing up big time and starting to take over the house music world. Driving techno with great percussion and synths. 2. Stashrider-Voodoo (Hardy Heller Remix) [Kiddaz.FM] Another update of an old track. The vocal is so dark and haunting, its great for a dark smokey room. Led by a pounding kick drum and nice synth, this track will get a good reaction on the floor. 3. Blatta, Inesha, Wiesel-Do It At The Peepshow (Alex Dolby & Maskio Remix) [Hell Yeah] Dancefloor Destroyer right here! Alex Dolby & Maskio never disappoint, especially when they collaborate together. This track just keeps building on you, never letting up. Pure techno madness! 4. Plan Tec-Espias Psiquicios (Jonas Kopp Psiquic Remix) [spectral Sound] This track was originally released in 2006 on MindTrip Music, but just re-released on Spectral. Its dark chunky minimal tech with a synth that gives it a very evil edge. 5. Armando Silvestre-Revolucao (Original Mix) [surge] High energy techno not for the faint of heart. It pounds from beginning to end at a high bpm. This track is just straight up dirty, no other way to describe it. 6. Fran Egea-Second Byte (Mann-Frosch Small Brain Remix) [beat Maniacs] Mann-Frosch has put out a few tracks as of late that I've really been feelin. Quality tech, minimal, or tech house productions every time. The original of this track is electro, but it gets the techno treatment from Mann-Frosh to really make it an outstanding track. The synth stab thrown in is one of my favorite elements. The electro sound is touched up a bit to make it a little more techy and it works so well. 7. Gianpier-Pendelbewegungen (Original Mix) [GP Ear Recordings] I have no idea how to say the title of this track lol but that doesnt matter. The synth builds on you, then it breaks down for a brief moment. When it comes back, it comes back at you hard. Another weapon for the dancefloor! 8. Mauro Picotto-Evribadi (Meganite Remix) [Alchemy (Italy)] Quality techno production from Picotto who has definitely done a complete 180 from his old trance sound. I have never been a very big fan of his productions in the corssover period to techno. I did like his old trance work. But this tech track is exactly my kind of sound. 9. Adam Beyer-Chine Girl (Original Mix) [Mad Eye] This is the #6 most downloaded track, and #1 most downloaded minimal track on Beatport right now. Love the bassline to this track and the techy high hats that keep you movin. 10. Drumcell & Audio Injection-Bottle Opener (Original Mix) [Droid Records] A minimal track with very techy percussion and synths. It builds up and mellows out a few times through out the track. Different elements are added and then taken back out, only to come back again later in the track. Quality production. Thats my top ten for August. As you can see, techno has taken over my soul. Tune in to my live internet radio show "The Passion" every Sunday 12noon-3pm on www.antifmradio.com. I'll definitely be rockin all these tracks and a bunch more just like them

Mihalis Safras-Dusk To Dust (Hard Edit) 3. Anthony Collins & Marc Antona-Sharks 4. Claude VonStroke-Who's Afraid Of Detroit? (3 Channels Remix) 5. Angello, Ingrosso, Axwell, & Laidback Luke-Get Dumb (Mark Knight's Dex Ray Dub) 6. Dubfire-Roadkill 7. Flug-Blip Blop 8. Christian Smith & John Selway-Transit Time (Dubfire Remix) 9. Paul Ritch-Samba 10. Graziano Raffa-Sun Therapy
  5. 1. Christian Smith & John Selway-Transit Time (Dubfire Remix) [sINO] This track is a monstaaaa! i first heard it Neptunes in the Hamptons when Calderone dropped it and there has been plenty of hype around it since. Its a long, epic 12 minute techno energy fest. Im lovin this track and everything else Dubfire is putting out! 2. Graziano Raffa-Sun Therapy (Original Mix) [Footloversmusic] A hard driving tech track that is sure to reign supreme on the dancefloor. The energy never stops and it gives you just a moment to catch your breath. The breakdown features a filtered out sound and a buildup of keys that bring you right back into the groove. 3. Flug-Plip Blop (Original Mix) [Acktivism Recordings!] Another tech bomb here. Theres a repetitive synth stab laid over the beat that will make you bob your head along with it. A very deep vocal sample gives this track a dark edge. 4. Alex Celler-A Night In Bagley's (Original Mix) [MyDust] Im a huge fan of all Alex's work. This might be my favorite production by him so far. Driving tech house with a synth sound that Im really liking. This track just keeps building up on you from start to finish. 5. Claude Von Stoke-Who's Afraid Of Detroit? (3 Channels Remix) [Dirtybird] This track is a few months old but it destroys the dancefloor every time I drop it. I slept on it for a while and when I started playing it I couldnt believe the reaction it got every single time. People love this track and so do I! I havent included it in a past month's top ten, so Ive decided to include it this month. Those unexpected keys or synth stabs or whatever you want to call them that come right at you are what makes this track. 6. Marco Carola-Pallegio (Original Mix) [Plus 8 records] This track was released in May but is another one that I cant stop playing. Theres 2 reasons I cant stop playing it. The first is I love it. The second is the crowd loves it. Again, its a definite crowd pleaser that everyone seems to like. It's what I call bouncy tech. Its got a very housey bassline to it, with great percussion laid over it. 7. Grindvik-Nand-Grind (Original Mix) [stockholm LTD] Minimal tech that doesnt let up on you. Instead it build up on you into a techy frenzy with bleeps , blips and shuffling percussion complimented by a pounding kick drum. 8. Sarah Goldfarb-Tin Et Tus (Original Mix) [Dumb Unit] More of that minimal sound that is becoming the popular sound. This one packs a punch with a powerful bassline and a synth stab that adds some groove. 9. Pressure Drop=You're Mine (Dirk Dreyer Remix) [Great Stuff] Beautiful deep house with a haunting vocal. I love vocals like this. This is a great track for early in the night to warm things up. It has a deep bassline and some great keys and synth stabs that really get it groovin. 10. Dennis Ferrer feat. Mia Tuttavilla-Touched The Sky (Yass Remix) [King Street Sounds] Dennis Ferrer is another one of my favorite producers. When I get the chance to play some soulful house theres always at least one or two tracks by Ferrer. He gives us another great uplifting vocal house track that gets a nice rework by Yass. Crowd pleaser!

  7. Tune in to "The Passion" on www.antifmradio.com today 12noon-3pm. As always i'll be playing the best in underground nitty gritty House Music. Im very excited to have one of my favorite producers, Alex Celler, doing a guest mix on the show today. If you know any of his productions, you know Alex keeps it dark & dirty just how I like it. Gonna be a great show! www.myspace.com/alexceller www.alexceller.com Alex Celler was born in Thessaloniki, the second biggest city of Greece, in 14 of September 1986. He grew up in a musical environment and a nightclub owning family. In 2004 he moved in London for further studies on music production and audio engineering and graduated in April 2007 and he is said to be one of the hottest young DJ/producers to appear in the London scene the last years. As of 2007 Alex has played some of London’s biggest venues, including The End, Canvas, Ministry Of Sound, The Cross, Renaissance Rooms, The Egg, Area and Hidden. He produces, composes & engineers music in various styles including Classical, Jazz and Electronic Dance Music. In the studio he is always positive in every genre and constantly influenced by new sounds, maintaining at the same time his personal. More specifically in the electronic music field he produces house and techno, ranging from deep to tech & tribal, with main element the energy and the groove. During the last 2 years Alex made music for the labels of Saeed Younan, Marcelo Castelli, Mert Yucel, Nikola Gala and has teamed up with London’s Dj Ariel, co-producing with him the cutting edge Latino-Tech sound of London in Ariel’s label MyDust. Lately, in July 2006 Alex started a digital record label, Caedmon Records, with his other music partner X Green, releasing progressive and tech house. His tracks are being championed worldwide by DJs such as Danny Tenaglia, Chus & Ceballos, Erick Morillo, Saeed Younan, Cevin Fisher and many more. Alex is performing constantly in clubs around London. He holds a bi-monthly residency spinning the latest underground house music for Ariel’s My Dust Records Party. He is also resident in Ibiza’s Space party “Home Of La Troya - London”. Trough constant evolution and experimentation, Alex has managed to create high quality electronic dance music in his own unique style. He believes that the energy and the groove are the most vital elements when it comes to the dance floor; for that reason his exotic and underground sets, are full of straightforward sounds, punchy kick drums, vibrating rhythms & fat bass lines. Alex himself describes his sound as ''...techy, groovy, hypnotic and underground house music''
  8. Last month I had trouble narrowing it down to just 10, this month I can hardly pick out 10 that i think are worthy of being listed in a top 10. Im sure it is in part due to the more minimal style Ive been playing, so its hard to listen to those tracks and think "top 10 banger". Anyway, I'll give it a go. 10 tracks for this month that impress me. 1. Chris Lake-Carry Me Away (Mickey Slim & Funkagenda Mix) [Rising Music] This is my certified BOMB for the month! This mix is harder-hitting than the original, with a deeper darker sound and heavy bassline. It uses some nice vocal stabs & synths stabs in the intro. The vocal is just amazing! Its got a very haunting and sultry sound to it. This is a stand out track to me. 2. The Doppler Effect-Beauty Hides In The Deep (Envotion Remix) [Electronic Elements (Armada)] Another strong vocal track. This original is a trance track, but this mix kicks up the energy into an electro frenzy reminiscent of Trentemoller's remix of "What Else Is There?". The bassline and the synth stabs come at you hard which keeps this track dirty, and the vocal gives it a trippy edge. The breakdowns are very melodic, showing off its trance roots, but the build ups bring it back to its dirtyness. 3. Ian Carey-Love Won't Wait (Mark Knight Acid Mix) [GFAB Records] Mark Knight has definitely been on a tear as of late. He takes what was a much more "housey electro" track and turns it into a deeper, driving tech house track. Knight just uses the vocal hook for a short portion of the track along with some strings which gives it the perfect amount of emotion. Another top notch track from Mr. Knight, one of my top producers of the moment & possibly one of my favorite of all time the more I think about it. 4. Alloy Mental-God Is Green (Phil Kieran Club Mix) [skint] Driving techno with a steady bassline and kickdrum throughout. The track build and builds from beginning to end. Kieran eliminates the vocal from the original, uses some of the same sounds from the original but slices & dices them up into pure madness. 5. Deko-Liebe [Antibemusic] This is dirty tech house with a very heavy bassline and some high pitch synth stabs that hit you out of no where. The synths are changed up later in the track, but for the most part this track stays pretty steady, but never lets up on you. 6. Chocolate Party-Wikid (Mark Mendes Tech Vocal Dub) [uMM] The track builds up with a drum roll and then drops one heavy ass bassline one you. On a good soundsystem this will absolutely shake the floor, the walls and your brain! 7. Tribalishious-Here It Comes (Alex Celler Remix) [Helvetica Noir] Alex Celler is another producer that is at the top of my list right now, and I will pretty much buy every track of his without even havinig to listen to it. He takes a tribal track and puts his tech house spin on it, which gives it a more grimey sound. Its got great percussion and it really keeps the energy going. This is a big room track that i think the big room nyc dj's will be rockin if they arent already. 8. Cytric feat D. Organism-Sleeping (Deka Remix) [Escuro Recordings] This track is a big difference from the original which has a typical tribal sound. Deka's remix is more tech house-ish with a heavy kick drum that never lets up and an eery vocal sample on top of it. This is very afterhours to me. 9. Luka & Lazo-Dust No. 4 (Barem Remix) [Mo's Ferry] Its hard to write much about a minimal track because minimal tracks dont typically change much through out the track. This track has a deep bassline with some nice bassy synth stabs. It may not have crazy breakdowns or buildups but it definitely packs a punch. 10. Nikos Toscani-Crobar [Kult] More pounding big room tribal from my boy Nikos. Great production work as always with a nice synth. Good breakdown and build up that adds some more higher pitched synth stabs to the track which really adds energy on top of the energy that was already there. Nikos is one of the only reasons I still play tribal, because I like playing his tracks. There you go, it wasnt as hard as i thought it was gonna be to list 10 tracks. i actually had 3 or 4 more in consideration for the list. Make sure to tune in to my live internet radio show every Sunday 12noon-3pm on www.antifmradio.com. You will definitely be hearing these tracks. Ive already been playing them for the past few weeks.

  10. i went to high school with that girl
  11. There's a TON of good music out there right now, and it was extremely difficult to narrow my favorite tracks down to just 10. i could easily list 10-15 more. 1. Mark Knight-Party Animal (Workidz Remix) [Toolroom] BOMBBBBBBB! i first heard this at the Beatport party in Miami during WMC. i got there just as Dubfire was coming off and Mark Knight was mixing in his first track. It was my first time seeing Mark Knight play live and his whole set really impressed me. This track dropped and all the people went NUTS! It didnt matter that it was pouring out, people were jumpin around gettin soakin wet. So anyway, about the track...its pure energy. Hard hitting kick drum and bassline and then the beat drops out and a girl speaks "I wanna fuck you body" and then the beat slams back on ya! This is INTENSE!! 2. Workidz-Work It (Martin Accorsi Remix) [Montini] Workidz aka David Nagy is on fire lately, pumpin out a bunch of bangers. This track was originally named Bay Of Clix until Kobbe remixed it and recorded his own voice and added the "Work It" sample over the track. It received such a huge reaction, Nagy renamed the track. Martin Accorsi's mix is more on the tech house side, but still uses some of the same percussion that makes the track recognizable. 3. Gregory Salto & DJ Madskillz-Embryo [G-REX Music] This is a bouncy techy house track with well used bleeps and blips as i like to call them lol. The melody is very addicting 4. Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso-Umbrella [WHITE] The Swedish House Mafia is back at it again! This new one is a housey track with a guitar riff throught. the track just keeps building until it breaks down to just the guitar riff. then a second guitar riff is thrown on top of that, then the bassline, then some strings over that, until finally the kick and bassline drop again. Its a beautifully produced house track. 5. Groove Armada-Get Down (Henrik B Remix) [Columbia] An energy-filled electro tech house banger that builds and builds, lets you catch your breath for a brief moment, and then goes crazy again. This will light up dance floors. 6. Peter Gelderblom-Dirty [WHITE] I'm assuming this track is new, i havent seen it released on any site, and no one that has heard me play it heard it before that. But im not seeing any hype about it, so thats what makes me unsure. Anyway, I'm really feeling this track. Its a progressive house track with that classic Gelderblom drum pattern complimented by a raunchy female spoken word vocal and a heavy bassline, another Gelderblom staple. The title is absolutely perfect...this track is DIRTY!!! 7. Slice & Case-Perculator [WHITE] This is a tech house track with some evil percussion and some dark & edgy synth stabs that build up on you and then the beat drops with some straight up filth! Another dance floor destroyer. 8. Cubic-Superflyin 2007 (Joubin & Nicola Torriero's Montreal Stereo Remix) [stereo Productions] I still think Superchumbo's mix of this track is the best one, but this mix is right behind it. The bassline is similar to Superchumbo's mix, but this one has some extra percussion plus a real nice synth stab that will go over real nice in a big room. 9. Danny Tenaglia-Dibiza 2007 (Jaimy Tribal Mix) [stereo Productions] Theres a ton of remixes to this track, this one is my favorite. The drums in this track are killer. Straight up nasty percussion, true to form for Jaimy. This is definitely peak hour big room tribal that should make any dancefloor move. 10. Atrium-In Love With You (Mark Knight Toolroom Vox Mix) [Toolroom] This actually should have been #1 cuz it is definitely my favorite track of the moment, but since its older i put it down on the list. This track was originally released in 2006 but Mark Knight remixed it in March 2007. I played this a couple times down at WMC and it definitely turned heads. I've also been playing it on my show and people always want to know what it is. Its a powerful progressive house track that just keeps coming at you harder and harder as it goes on. The vocal comes in real late in the track, in very dramatic fashion. The vocal is beautiful and so is the production on the track.
