I just wanted to say I hada great time last night. Johnny is a true gentleman and someone who should be respected for his humbilness. Nero.... Here comes the next level brother! This was my first time at roxy on Friday night and I have to give mad props to Bobby G, A-luv and the whole roxy staff and crew. I'm glad to hear that most people enjoyed my set and look forward to being there again real soon. Cancun...MTV....WMC.... Here we go!

I'll be djing this Saturday and I have a feeling that it's going to be one of the best nights so far this summer ( which from what I understand shouldn't be so hard). Also don't forget that Danny tenaglie will be st SPACE this Tuesday July 3rd. Hope to see some of you there!

That's funny shit bro! I remember a guy named "Howie Bongo". When I was djing at expo, he would dress up in all sorts of crazy outfits and tie a drum around his neck and walk around the crowd playing to the music. They actually hired him. I heard he's still around and business is booming, so.... (hahahahahaha)!

Rob, I was a dj first. I started when I was about 10 years old ( my first set of decks; slbd-1 belt driven technics)I began doing parties freshman year of high school. Without getting to into details, bottom line is by the time I was 18 I had a great following in brooklyn, got courted by the limelight, and landed my first big nyc residency. So the answer to your question, what came first the dj or the promoter, THE DJ, promoting is still not my cup of tea, but I'm a great organizer and have some very loyal promoters who trust me and my djing to further their careers as they do mine. Big ups to Donnie c., Ro, Junior, Imperial, Furious Funktions, Bobby T., Chris Reda, Lola and all the supporters. Even you Rob!!!

Hey Rob, Just a little history for you. I started as a dj working a two and a half year residency at limelight. At that time Jeff Mills was the resident on the main floor (91-93) After my two years at limelight, I did a year and a half at the palladium, my second residency. (Michael Todd room) I maintained a residency which was shared with anthony acid at expo for over a year as well. I've played with David Morales, Hex Hector, Lord G, Armand van helden, Paul okenfield, Sven vath etc. If I need to prove my credentials to you, just let me know. Most recently I ended a residency of 15 months at limelight with Jason Ojeda. I currently maintain a Monthly residency in Las Vegas at Ra, and I'm djing their New Years eve there. I can also be heard in the secret room at exit every Saturday night. I've played at numerous venues world wide and don't appreciate anyone comparing me to "Promoters being dj's, abuse of power shit". I worked very hard to get where I am! I have a group of loyal promoters who back me anywhere I play. This is a competitive industry and you should respect , not necessarily like or agree, how people get to where they are! Just my two cents!
