The Sound Engineers at Space34 need to get their act together. The night of the Tiesto party the system cut off in the middle of Tiesto's set. And it got cut off a few times during Picotto's as well.

1. Space in Ibiza (Music + Crowd + Layout) amazing overall experience. 2. Factory (Music + Layout) you always feel at home in this club and the music is great. 3. Palladium in Acapulco has the most awesome layout/decor the croud and music could use a change. imo if they brought a really hot DJ in there it'd be # 1

Just got back from Acapulco myself and I have toi say that evn thought the clubs are amazing (Palladium is one of the most beautiful clubs I've seen) the music there is all old. They play old catchy music because not everyone there is from NYC and they just play stuff that people know or stuff they can hum. Basically they play stuff that gets people to dance, they don't try to play the latest muisic. Cancun music is definately better. JP and Skribbs at LaBoom take it home with the music, Acapulco can't even compete. In my oppinion the only thing that Acapulco has going for it is the beautiful clubs. Cancun is a lot more wild and fun (crazy contests on the beach, the pool at Oasis, booze cruise, mardi gras @ Pat O'Brian's beach parties @ senior frugs, drunk bus rides, etc.. just all around more craziness). Acapulco is pretty boring during the day. The pool at Copa sux and the bach as well. If you want a somewhat decent beach you gotta go to proncess beach 30 mins away from the hotel zone which means there really arent any sping breakers there. Don't get me wrong I had a great time in Acapulco but if I had to choose between Acapulco and Cancun, Cancun would win hands down. I wish they built Palladium in Cancun or NYC and got great DJ's to play there (JP, Tiesto, Van Dyke) I'd never leave a place like that.

I went to Acapulco this year too. Dance w/ the Devil was defiantely a hit there. They did that Devil show every single night I was there. Another song I heard every night was Heaven Is A Place On Earth. They played the Billy Jean remix a lot too. And Abigail was played a lot too. They dont play too much new music there. They played a bunch of old songs like Spente le Stelle and Sandstorm, stuff like that.

Just got back from EXIT!!! Another awesome performace by Tiesto. Way too crowded @ first and the music was really low in the beggining...but it got a lot better like @ 3:30 or so. I need some help with a few of the songs he played. @ around 3:30 he played some song that sounded like a DJ Scot Song, sounded really familiar, Draper prob dropped it. I think the song right after it was Urban Train (I'm not sure I'll check that tomm). At around 5:00 he dropped some siiiiik vocal. Music stopped and a female voice said something like "Can you please give me silence, can you please give me space" If this is any help, the DMB song came like 30 mins after that vocal I'm asking about. Also just about every song where they put on the siren and the snow, was siiik. If anyone knows the names of any of those songs please post. Also, who was the guy that came on after Tiesto??? He started w, Children (anyone know what mix??) and what was the second song in his set??? And the vocal he played after that. I'm really sorry, I realize I am being vague in my descriptions but any help would be appreciated.

Try a program called MixMeister the interface is somewhat like CoolEdit and it matches beats and tempos for you.

you need to get a "RCA to 1/8" stereo cable" -- it goes for about 4-5 bucks at radio shack. hook the rca end to the out on ur mixer and the 1/8" to the line in on your computer. use your favorite software (I like CoolEdit) to record it as a wav. The split the trax using sound forge or any toher wave editor (once again I use Cool Edit). Then just burn your mix. Make sure to burn using "Disk at once" option to eliminate the pauses between trax.
