  1. re: asian tranny such a shame ...I did see one asian tranny I absolutely fell in love with. her and her crew of divas spiced things up when they showed up for danny tenaglia early morning ~7-8am @ twilo and saw them again at the erika jayne party @ setai. hotness. there just wasn't enough diversity at wmc, imho.
  2. dude, I think I saw you and your meathead posse and immediately turned around
  3. Late night Saturday on Washington Ave when all the clubs were kicking everyone out: some brotha trying to holla at a sista: "Dayam girl, your ass is like cantaloupe!" a guido hanging out the car window with his tongue flapping in the wind: "Yeah, I'd definitely f*ck that ass" Ummm, yeah, had no idea miami became so disgusting!!! My favorite while munching on some pizza on Espaniola (sp?) random girl going up to 2 guys a few feet from us: "Hi, I'm (forgot her name) and I just took some acid and can't find my friends" ...luckily those guys were kind enough to listen to her rambling.
  4. something I found about Friendster charging....from http://www.onlinecommunityreport.com/features/abrams -YG aka les.ba.nAnnie aka Annie.biotics ....etc etc ------------- Interview with Jonathan Abrams, Friendster by Jim Cashel September 2003 Jonathan Abrams is founder of Friendster, the fast-growing social networking Web site. Tell me about Friendster -- age, metrics, growth? Our beta has been up since March 2003. We have over 1.5 million users, and have experienced exponential growth. Why do you think Friendster has succeeded when other relatively similar initiatives haven't? I'm not really familiar with anything that has been very similar to Friendster in execution. We've created a service that is fun, simple, and appealing to a mass-market audience. How do you make money? We will require small monthly subscriptions for some features, while keeping basic membership free. Specifically, it will be free to sign up, post your profile & photo, search & browser other people's profiles, photos, friends, testimonials and free to communicate with your friends via Friendster, but if you want to contact someone you don't know when we move out of beta that will require a small monthly subscription [/i}, less than one third of Match.com's subscription fee. Friendster is effective if you attract your friends to the Network, but not if they go elsewhere. In that sense it's a bit like IM. What are you views on interoperability of social network services like Friendster? I'm not aware of any other social network that has significant size, and interoperability is not something that our users have requested. It's only come up from proponents of open-source standards like FOAF, which do not seem to address consumer needs. Which sites or services inspire you? Friendster was inspired by "real-life" behavior, not a web site, but I'm a big fan of other web sites like Craigslist, HotOrNot.com, and Ryze. What will social networks look like -- or let's say be capable of -- in three years? I'm really not sure.
  5. will be in Chicago the 17th til 24th and looking to see if there any fun 80's or electro nites... thanks!
  6. NICE! Thanks so much hon!!! Lots of good things coming up for sure!! Looks like I'll be there from the 17th til 24th.....too bad I'm missing goldfrapp, zabiela, and doc martin tho... Chi-town here I come! YG
  7. Fond memories from this past Labor Day weekend extravaganza.... -going to my 1st "real" classy gentlemen's club Crazy Horse ....got a few lap dances and ended up giving my hot asian dancer a lap dance myself. -Cirque du Soleil's "Mystere" ...absolutely amazing!!! -Palms Hotel ....tried to check out Rain but the line was ridiculously long and ended up ppl watching and stumbling in on a very fun, little lounge there -Cheetah's ....not to our standards so we just stayed for a drink and bolted -Spearmint Rhino ....very, very nice. somehow ended up in the backroom. -Drais ...didn't get there until 6am and this is by far one of the nicest and funnest afterhours clubs I've ever been to. Okay music but great partyvibe and crowd. *happy sigh*....good times. -YG
  8. Working on flight arrangements but I will most definitely be back in windy city mid-September and am looking for: -happening lounge(s) -venues playing house (preferably deep house) -electro/80's nites -good parties (be it house, electro, progressive).... thanks! YG
  9. Just got back from a fun-filled adventure in Vegas.....and now I know why it is truly called "sin city" ....24hr drinking, incredible hotels and scenery, beautiful stylin' women, fine'n'classy gentlemen's clubs, Drais, etc etc ==== all equate to nonstop partying. I LOVE IT! But damned that my sugardaddy's bank is in the red and we need some time to recuperate. love it, love it, love it. Thanks Vegas. -YG
  10. What are the details of this party and afterparty? Is there a website I can check out?? Thanks! -YG
  11. This will be my 1st time to Vegas this upcoming weekend (aug 29th til Sept 2nd) from VA since I"ve been legal enough to really play there. Love me some HOUSE, electro, funk, booty-shaking beats.... so we have Felix on Sunday who I just saw a couple weeks ago (awesome set by the way)...and AvB at the same venue as well? Are there any happening lesbian bars or clubs?? Keep us visitors updated! Thanks! -YG
  12. Saw that FelixDaHousecat is slated to be @ the DC Tunnel Aug 16th...has anyone else heard or read anything about this?? Checked out DC Tunnel's webpage....hasn't a thing on it - lame. Thanks.
  13. I can't believe the low turnout this nite...spoke to several ppl the nite before @ Slick's who wanted to go see KSaunderson but were hesitant bc they 'hated' Transit.......poor excuse if you ask me. of course this was my 1st time here but I thought Transit was a beautiful club.....the more loungy, housey side was Awesome - we chilled on this side a lot more...but when I was in the main room - Kevin really rocked it out....danced as much as I could but dancing to techno always wears me out so quickly! Ppl need to give this place another chance...or maybe everyone else was resting up or heading down to WMC????? good nite. wish more ppls were out...but at least the few that were there danced. -YG
  14. Thanks so much for the info everyone!!!! Just arrived a few hours ago and will be getting in touch with some of you. -YG
  15. Looks like a few of us will be there. DC here we come! -YG
