here we go again, the naiveness in this room is killing me. throwing down my money with visions.
anyways, I hear a lot of you telling me "no discrimination" should be tolerated. hello? knock on your head for me. thanks.
be real. the dude rolling up to the club in the porsche or just flashin some dough will get in before you. the hot chica will get comped her whole freakin life. the fat lady walking down the street is being made fun of by most in this room. nobody is walking around opening doors for my ass! I'm gonna work for it and help my buddies out along the way. that's it

man, only been to Exit once on a visit and thought the joint was flat. just give it up poeple.
on the racism side, nothing is going to happen. I work and a law firm and can tell you it would take a long time to shut that place down and you don't have a very good case. Most bouncers won't admit to racial profiling and the public doesn't much care anyways.
like a couple of people said before me, we all get discriminated against. Be it race, money we got or don't, age, looks, goes on and on. time to deal with it. And all these things that people caste us for, we all do the same when we see someone not like us.

there definitely seems to be a lot more k and even e in the NY seen. I don't understand why people do K. E is OK for a club night, but the good ol' white powder is clearly the best stuff to party on!
and there is NO WAY that alcohol is worse for you than e, must be high or somethin' to think that.

by the way freakygirl, you're statement that fighting for peace is like f~~king... is a little naive. Have you ever read the afterword in 1984, it would explain how "war" can actually create peace (e.g. the Cold War).

My favorite dog has to be the one and only Alaskan malamute. They are totally protective, gorgeous, and love you to death (like a good girlfriend).

This is a damn heated topic. I would have to say the original asker of the question seems quite stuck up and naive, but would venture to say that most of us are in the same boat.
I was at a bar the other night (the Dresden out here in Hollywood) and my friend was talking to this sweetheart of a girl all night. I and a buddy of mine could tell that she wasn't sitting in a normal chair but a wheelchair. Well, my friend flirting with her didn't know this until later in the night when he got up to leave.
And then he has the audacity to ask me why I didn't come up and "save" him from the situation. I blew up right there! I don't know if I could date someone in a wheelchair or what prejudices I hold against such, but this girl was sweet and cute and don't think it fair to treat anyone like an outcast.

sounds like you've got good advice. I agree, definitely don't go to school. I have friends who've bartended before and no one ever comes from one of those stupid schools.
Just find a couple of places you want to work at and go talk to the manager. Be spunky and you're in!

I don't know if after some casual sex you can be friends. BUT, I am assured of this, things will not and can not be the same after that. I would say don't do it, because the two times I did I lost a good friend. Having sex kills that fun flirtatious sexual tension!
