you think school is fuckin hard? i never had to pull an all nighter in school in my life. shit, the minute i step out of school and enter the workforce, i've had to pull 3 all nighters in a row on numerous occasions. i work both days every weekend a minimum of 8 hours each day. the minimum amount of hours i work in a week is 80, normally close to 100. on top of that, i have to look sharp, be coherent, be able to explain my analysis and not fall asleep.
don't take for granted the easy life you have in college. if you want a career and life wasn't handed to you on a silver platter, you better be disciplined and work your ass off for it.
work hard, play hard.
o thank goodness for this post! i was on the verge of saying the same thing while reading through everyone's complaints, but i probably wouldn't have put it as eloquently.
plus if you don't want to go to college, then don't go. there's plenty of other options, don't limit yourself just because you think it's what you're supposed to do. the entire achievement ideology is bs anyway, plenty of other ways to get ahead in life.

yea our sororities do that.

to all the people saying first year is the hardest..
your all nuts, speaking from my own experiences at least..
this year so far is easily the toughest i've had... freshmen year you take all core bs classes for the most part, and they're easy... as the years pass you generally need to get an internship somewhere on top of work, making things harder.. then by the time senior year comes, you have recruiting and a tough load to deal w/...
so true. i still didn't do as well as i should've freshman year but that was cuz i was still in my rebellious teen phase. now that that's over, i'm making up for it this year working my ass off to do well. i'm three times more productive, and 5 times as busy but surprisingly, it feels great to do something important. but anyways, i'm sure i'll be ready to shoot myself once spring comes and i need to find an internship for the summer or something.

only 3-4 bags/purses all of which i use.
2 pairs of sneakers (running and cheerleading)
3 pairs of sandals that i actually wear a lot
3 pairs of black shoes (ie. boots, dress shoes and sandals)
and that's it!

gee looks like the altima's winning out on this one. i'll add my vote too: my mom owns a pathfinder too and i used to drive it a lot. love that one a lot, never really had a problem w/it until now (4 years later, jus a minor maintenance problem) and except for the fact that it eats gas like a mofo.
the altima was actually the first car i drove, handles great and looks good too. my friend who let me drive it still has it now, it's all souped up but still. nissan's jus all-around a better car.

hm well longest relationship was on and off for 7 years, cut out the stupid middle school shit and it was 5 years. many of the times we broke up were really bad, but apparently we always got back together. final break-up was friendly though, sad but we were civil to each other.
since then, we were still best friends for a while, we always had been. now after a year apart at college (i'm in nyc, he's in illinois), we've grown a bit distant but we still talk and are really friendly.
i do compare others to him at times, only because he's the only guy that can put up with me for so long.

my whole fuckin life is a routine. if anything different happens, throws me way off.
if i don't get home in time to watch at least part of batman beyond or full house, i'm in a pissy mood the rest of the night.
