He was amazing at Vinyl on a Saturday night in 2002. Yes, I said Vinyl. I was lucky enough to be able to stay for the after party in the back room. Then I saw him the following Monday matched with Richie Hawtins at a small venue in the city. I forget the name of the place but I remember the music. Ridiculous. I haven't been out in the city in over two years but I will not miss him in April. No way... I'm outta retirement for this one...

2 yrs ago our boss took us to lunch in the city and a broadway show. I live and work in Allentown. Last year he took us to see a Sixers game in a box with dinner and this year he's taking us to a VIP room at the 40/40 Club, I believe that's what it's called, JZ'S place, for dinner and dancing. It's cool!!Money would work but I would just spend it anyway. We have more fun this way!! Have a great holiday everyone!!

I agree with you. I'm 41 and one of my closest friends is 23. She and I use to go out all the time together, 18 and older venues, we didn't care as long as the vibe was good. Now we live an hour apart and only chill once in awhile. I have many friends that are younger than I am cuz that's not hard. LOL!! Maybe her friend is on the shy side and that's why she feels the way she does. Most peeps don't really care about age anymore. Sounds like she just needs to go relax and have some fun..
