as usual Erick Morillo is at Tao that Sunday nite. Cedric Gervais will be at Wet Republic that Sunday too. I heard Sharam will also be at Wet R that same day (though not publically confirmed) and Roger Sanchez as well that weekend (again details TBC).

too early to say. NYC always issues their shutdown orders on friday nites so the clubs can't go to court until the following monday to try and get an injunction to stay open. i assume tomorrow morning Pacha and Marquee's attys will be there bright and early fighting the closure orders. i hope its all fixed as i was planning on going as part of a July 4th vacation weekend in the city.

just an update - i talked to someone at Wet Republic and they WILL NOT comp hotel guests. they have to wait and pay like everyone else that weekend. presales supposedly will be on sale on ticketmaster later this week.

no - but Rehab might be $80 to $100 at the door for guys on Mem Day weekend...and if you get there before 4pm the line is stupid long.

I have been told that MGM and MGM Signature (the condos) guests get free entry into Wet Republic. someone else where said tix are $100 presale and $150 at the door (have not been able to get that confirmed yet) so getting in free would be great.

MSTRKRFT is spinning at Revolution on that Sunday the 28th.

it would be $40 to $50 anyway and that's if you can get past the ropes without having to palm someone a $20 or use a VIP host which obviously costs $$$ too. its actually not a bad price to guarantee quick entry on a holiday weekend.

people start lining up at 9am or earlier on a holiday weekend - they don't let non-hotel guests inside until 12pm i believe....Rehab is always slammed in general and a total mess on labor/memorial day weekend. typically a $100 bill will get you right in...better to grease the security/doorguys IMO that wait in line for hours... btw, Cedric Gervais is playing with Sharam.

my review for Giant...great time. i'm not really a trance guy so Armin was okay for me but the crowd was great, relatively short lines for drinks/bathroom....no wait to get in. no complaints basically

MNS = monday night social at Nacional each monday nite, many times with the same talent that played Avalon/Vanguard the Sat nite before. though Giant just partnered up with them so i doubt we'll see too many if any Avalon headliners there now like Sander K just did a couple of weeks back.

wow. sorry to hear that. was this bouncer a guy about 5'8" maybe? he damn near blew a gasket one time when i had a handful of VIP bracelets. said he thought i was going to sell them outside and that was going to cause a problem. WTF???!!!???!!! other than that i've never had any problems there but they can be too serious at Vanguard. but i think part of that goes back to January when one of the bouncers was shot and killed there, so they have a low level for anyone that they think (righfully or not) is giving them a problem.

realistically even being on the list they are going to judge you at the door for Privilege. look the part, get there early and don't have more guys than girls and you are probably okay.

did you see that meltdown she had a couple of weeks back? should be able to find the video on youtube. hard to watch actually.
